No garage. Its outside parking spaces behind a gate.

I have to say, I've just had a thought, that all those bedrooms and "party" space. Makes me wonder if a lot of car keys went into a big bowl!

Sex people! laugh

I believe it is. A pulpit, or perhaps a lecturn (noting that in a secular setting it would be a lectern).
I'm thinking DJ stage.

It is advertised as a "ballroom" so it makes sense?

Lots Road Auctions moved into that building a while back, it used to be a gas board laboratory.

Car related garage nightmare - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/154014878#/...

Have you ever seen a garage that narrow? It's going to be the same width as the utility room, 5ft 8 (172cm).

It's not as if it's recent, the garage has always been there at least as far back as street view goes before the first floor extension above it was built.

6 Ped Penthouse SW6
£4.5M
4 parking spaces

https://www.onthemarket.com/details/15998262/

Yes, it's enormous! 8000 square feet no less!

But it needs a full interior really to make it feel like a home. Feels like a film set!

Pic 5 contains a staircase to nowhere! And the view of the river in pic 25 doesn't exist anymore today due to other building work. And will probably be filled with another block in due course. I wonder how much asbestos in there too!

EDIT TO ADD

Same building. Albeit not the penthouse. Some full crazys live there in that block! laugh

I used to go past that building all the time and always wondered what was inside. Interesting history.

Okay for motorbikes/scooters, maybe a Citroen Ami at a squeeze. Love the bathroom tiling, pics 23/24 26/27. Too much grey overall though.

Ideal for me as a cycle commuter with n+1 too.
I mean, who really keeps a car in a garage these days?

Looks like a bit of a mad house and an awful building in general.

Weren't garages in England sized to fit an Austin A35 or something and still not large enough to be able to open the door to get out of the car?

172cm is the overall width, so the door opening will be even less, meaning that even a Caterham 7 at 170cm wouldn't fit in! Even an old A35 would only give you 6 inches each side, so not enough to open the door and squeeze in.

Well it's handy for road connections, golf courses and well heeled neighbours by the look of the satellite view...
Not my style but it's a lot of house, but pretty close to the motorway.
