A lot to like about this in the Wye Valley...

Yes not bad and a realist price, Is that a Neighbours house i can see though?
"In addition to the main house, there are two cottages: the Old Bake House, a one-bedroom cottage, and River Cottage, a two-bedroom cottage. Both cottages are well-
established holiday rentals, generating valuable additional income. The Old Bake House was previously used as a granny annexe, making it ideal for
multigenerational living. Additionally, a separate paddock is available through separate negotiations."

"The property is approached via a lane, with the driveway splitting to provide
access to Cwm Mill and The Old Bake House, while a separate driveway leads
to River Cottage. The cottage gardens are delightful, situated along the banks
of the River Monnow, offering a tranquil haven for wildlife."

Needs work, like a garage, sort the energy efficiency, put a small turbine on the mill wheel...
First sight, love it, yes needs garage etc, but is it a Semi detached? The description is silent on his but that is what the EPC says.
Pic 40 - looks like it is, along with a shared driveway to it

Nearly 13,000 sqft and no space anywhere.
You've nailed it!

That house is massive, truly massive, but not spacious. I think I could be claustrophobic in that mansion..

I've seen the first one before, but haven't seen the second.

Love both!

That's very nice, and looks good value until you get to 'principal part'.. Looking at a satellite view, 'principal' is doing a lot of lifting here.

For the plot, not the house.
Can't be long before next door is torn down as well.
No idea about the area but that looks like one nasty storm left before they all end up in the sea?

As we are looking to buy by the coast, I find google earth history a great resource.
Looks like these homes not suffered in the last 25 years (rock cliffs).

This caught my eye. I wouldn't mind living above the shop.

https://inigo.com/sales-list/soho-square

But then if I had that sort of loot I might not need a shop.

Perhaps this instead... Needs a new kitchen but hey !

...But then pretty much everything on Inigo's books looks interesting smile

It's on rightmove, with a plan of the grounds, showing it's part of the house

The Soho one, does that now include to check if the neighbours have dug basements, or plan to?

I got my wrist slapped for posting it (with an assortment of images) at the end of last week, apparently there's been a discussion on it already but, like your post, nobody put up any photos to go with the link so it was, for me at least, easy to miss despite going back over a couple of pages of posts first.

I love it, very much a time capsule that wouldn't be for everyone but I would imagine it's the kind of place you could rent out to TV companies to help with mortgage costs too smile

Sorry if you felt that, it wasn't the intention. Lots of posts in the discussion have images, but easy to miss.

Refurbed Lake District pawn near Windermere. Think I would want to warm the interiors up a bit. Kitchen is crying out for a Lacanche range and some warmer flooring. But it has the location, 4 berth garage and looks to be mostly sorted inside.

I like it in general - but it has my absolute hatred of 'led spotlights in a ring around the room' for every room.

Nice spot, but a charmless house (G-Class and a Grenadier, too).
