That is always a big problem when looking for nice property with land, always having to consider if you are taking away a much needed local livery business or how close the neighbours are and therefore how early a Chieftain tank can be started without causing offence.
Not before 3AM or the second bottle of port?

If you buy an early Scimitar light tank it will have the 4.2 straight six Jaguar engine so your neighbours will think you're a classic car driving gentleman of taste thumbup

I was born and raised in Dronfield Woodhouse and my mum still lives there. I can't see how any property could be worth £3m.

That was my thought too, never knew that property was there and I drive past daily.

This is quite sweet, if a little stark inside, with a garden designed by an acclaimed British horticulturalist and is just north of Petersfield - yes, the A3 again! laugh

Interestingly, I can't see any mention of the ability to park your aeroplane on the front lawn.

Odd that, because somewhere to park your Harrier is important…
Just can’t reconcile the inside with the outside… Grey nylon carpet, shiny tiles, see through whirlpool bath just don’t go with the building.

The interior is awful. I stopped scrolling after the grey beams. What were they thinking?

I like their interior design attitude to minimalist furniture

Such a difference between the charming setting and character of the exterior and that stunning blandness of the interior. Though, to be fair, empty houses never look great - in that situation it might have made sense to have it dressed for the photos.

The irony is that they probably paid an ‘interior designer’ a not inconsiderable sum to come up with that feast of greyness and that new-build show home kitchen.

The exterior and interior are like they belong to two different houses.

I like this one, not cheap and pick apart the "blank canvas interior" as you will but it looks like a well planned out set up.

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/159654623#/...

Manageable main house, entertainment barn, cottage annex, lovely grounds, garaging for 9 cars and a double height workshop complete with lift, all dotted around the 11 acres...nice.

I have zero requirement for it, but I do like it.

I this will polarise opinion.

I quite like it actually, but not at £1.6m.

I like that, difficult plot but built around the different levels.

Wouldn't pay that for Glasgow though.

I think that's how to do a modern build.
