Is that an error and it's the sale of the whole property that has been included?

And it's since been split into apartments.

Don't know. Jimi said it sold as an apartment previously so it's a bit of a mystery. The blurb says it was converted in 2017 and it's freehold.

At the sale price it doesn't seem expensive but at 800+ it certainly does

Can Jimi or another shed any light on whats happened?

That's an error on the website. It sold for £315k in 2023.

Yeah, it's definitely an error. Sold price was just over 300k, per above. Oban prices are strong, but they're not THAT strong hehe

This is a flat in one of my all-time favourite locations, and indeed, favourite properties.

It's a good example of how price and size doesn't really come into the equation for me when regarding something as "pawn"

I remember seeing that before from a different aspect I think - has a new apartment come up?
Wood porn. Love the craftsmanship on display.

For gen-you-wine porn status it needs a jetty or pontoon for mucking about on the sound.

Getting out of the bath might be tricky. I think I'd want a better thought-out bathroom for my pawn gaff.

How would you clean around that?

I suspect too many houses about for a lot on here - but I quite like this...

I this will polarise opinion.

I quite like it actually, but not at £1.6m.

Gives me "SME office" vibes.

Silver windows and lack of shape to the building. Its literally just boxes. No flair or depth to it. And smooth white rendering, with no wood or slate type materials to give texture.
Completely agree.

Also snatches defeat from the jaw of victory by having a detached garage and a set of outside stairs to tackle during the days there that are freezing or snowing or raining - should have been under the house, at least 6m wide and 10m deep with an internal stairway up to the house. The entry to the house looks like the rear door from a telephone exchange and the colouring is very uninspired to boot. Ceiling peppered with downlights. Concrete area down near the garage looks pretty awful. Garden will be a prick to maintain - should have been terraced with retaining walls. Even the kitchen sink is compromised.

May be too close to the M56 and Manchester Airport.

I think that's the one where the parents lived out back isn't it? Strong money for the area, but I think it'll find a buyer, it has weathered well.

Location is fine in my opinion, although the house isnt to my taste

Its certainly "handy" for the airport however the flight path shouldnt bother you

that is rather nice and seems like staggering VFM (ok I'd not use the master-bedroom thanks to the moronic bath inclusion but the 'jack-and-jill' bathroom set-up would be excellent as a master suite yes )
