Blimey, they certainly like a painting or two (million!!)
I couldn't imagine the task of packing (and then unpacking + hanging) all that stuff!

I wouldn't want to be the window cleaner with that many individual panes of glass.

Inverurie is a nice spot. I wonder if it's still vibrant after the paper mill closed, though.

JIM JANNARD'S BRUTALIST BEVERLY HILLS MANSION

Crikey
No. No. and no again...

Good grief that is hideous. Why of earth would you need 10 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms?

confused
It definitely needs some softening with some surfaces other than finished concrete and, cripes, some of the fittings in it - it's like a Cyberman won the lotto and its software glitched at the Architects.

Bit ambitious given it was <100K to buy originally.
I’ve played snooker in there. Probably 40 years ago, mind.

Some may recognise this from the telly. Rather nicely done in my view.

No idea of the area, but considering what £500k buys in many places I quite like that.

I quite like the inverse kerb appeal. The opposite of pillars and gold lions but what appears a pokey old persons bungalow from when you pull up.

Not looked but don’t the Americans call toilets “bathrooms” so it may just meant toilets and bathrooms?

Bathroom in Realestate typically means it either has a bath or shower. A half bath is a room with a toilet.

You would say my house has 4.5 bathrooms. Two have both Bath and shower. 2 have showers and one has a toilet.

This listing man not follow that convention though.

Property taxes are $492,906/yr. That’s a little tough to swallow. Based on assessment of $42M they are paying 1.2%/yr. I pay /1.5%. I used to pay over 3% in a different town.

Another great view, love the garaging, but the property is very close to the cliff edge.

It's nice - but are you going to bet 4 million on 'Coastal Erosion - Environmental Agency states no active intervention required'...
Plenty of trees growing on the cliffs below, suggesting it's been stable for a good while, but it would be hard to shake the fear of a collapse.

I wouldn't be surprised if it appeared in a future Omaze prize draw.
It's been on the thread before; it's also still not finished, where are all the handrails and why is there a stter next to a full height picture window?

Niceish little retirement gaff.

As an aside, how has it taken me 55 years to realise Portsmouth is on an island (yes I know Great Britain is an island but YKWIM). Looked at satellite view and noticed for the first time...

I'm always drawn to the quirky, and so I do quite like this place.

It's probably not what I'd regard as "pawn" per-se, but I do like it and I could happily live there (referring to the house itself and the immediate neighbourhood - can't comment beyond that.
