Lovely shots as ever, is that Marco Melandri on the Ducati? smile
I’ll stick my neck out and say that is NOT Melandri, but is a Ducati with 33 on it….

Frank blending in with the autumn leaves this morning before getting to his favourite field (the main dog exercise area for the village and almost always a place to find one of his playmates).

Poor Stan. So today he went plumless, traumatic enough you might think, but the cone of shame is triple edged - he’s also got an ear infection that he can’t scratch (which is hyper frustrating for him), and whilst getting snipped also had his dew claws removed from his hind legs. Now we knew they weren’t connected to anything, however the vet found they were connected to veins, bled everywhere so now he has to wear a pair of socks. As you can see he’s all over cuddles with SWMBO, but I do find myself asking my self what have we just put the poor pup through. And ten bloody days with the cone of shame, and overshoes to stop his socks getting wet when he wants to go out for a wee.

Get well soon Stan. Sounds like he has it all going on but I’m sure he will make a quick recovery.

Wishing Stan better.

Thanks for all your postings. It’s wonderful reading about the little pup’s upbringing.

Was in the village local last night, was very busy.
Felt something nudge my shin….

Looked down and there’s a little face looking up at me .

She’s a tiny little Terrier, but sweet natured and sadly, deaf…

Thanks for the get well messages for Stan, I’ve passed them on and he’s wagging his tail. He really isn’t liking the cone (what dog does), and I suspect by the time it’s off the walls will be covered in scratch marks! We’ve also got to try and stop him going up and down stairs - he’d only been here a matter of hours before working out the stair guard and has been bombing up and down like a loon since! And typical he has to keep his back legs dry when it’s been particularly wet of late! Ah well, at least he seems more like his old self this morning smile
