[quote=Mobile Chicane]I've been to Morocco for the past two years for Christmas and having read what I had on the web, expected to be spat at / groped / hassled on every street corner. I'm blonde, and busty, so was expecting hassle.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Morocco (these days) is a modern, civilised country. People are respectful and polite.

- think this is well put. I've been going on and off for 20 years and the last visit in 2011 was unrecignisable compared to the first. They are actively managing their image as a tourist destination and attitudes have really changed. My wife had no hassle at all in Marrakech Or in the Atlas when we toured round. You atill need to be aware of your bags and wallets etc but thta's no different than many Uk cities!

As above.

We went earlier this year and my wife and daughter had no hassle at all.

Very friendly people most of them.
