How do you justify holiday costs?

Which card - the gold preferred? If you are sticking with BA/Avios, the BA branded Amexes give better returns (on avios only). The one with the fee gets you 3 avios per £1 you spend with BA and a 2 for 1 voucher if you spend enough each year - which should cover the fee. A possible 25k avios bonus in the first year too...

There are sites where you can see the avios redemption availability as well.
