Another one to add to the list then! biggrin Unfortunately, with kids etc I can only do long weekends so the logistics of getting there are the limiting factor for now.

This was Boscastle earlier today, I'll be walking Port Issac to Padstow tomorrow when hopefully the weather will be as good.

Stunning picture Venisonpie... hope you're enjoying your walk today

I'm in the office, so I'm not jealous. Not at all.

Hoping to do the next section this weekend, Bude to Crackington Haven.

Short, but lumpy biggrin

There's some tough days to be had on the coast path round there. We did Sandymouth up to Morwenstow and back whilst on holiday. Absolutely naff all flat - just up & down. We were very glad of the massive cream tea at the Rectory Tea Rooms in Morwenstow.

We also parked at Boscastle one morning, caught the bus up the coast to Crackington Haven and then walked back to the car. The bakery in Boscastle was doing a great business to walkers who all piled onto the bus.

My Strava walk logs from that week are littered with pictures of cream teas and ice cream biggrin

The previous section into Bude was a corker!

Think we logged about 17mls & 3000ft of elevation (we added some optional extras on).

Ah, Scrade Valley just outside Crackington Haven.

One of the steepest descents and ascents of the whole coast path... enjoy!

Pumlumon Fawr today from the reservoir. No pics as it was seriously windy. Just good to get out in sunshine, though!

Thanks for the positive comments, another stunning day on the coast path. The first 3 miles out of Port Issac are pretty lumpy but thereafter its reasonably straight forward. A few snaps.

Low tide is a bonus on reaching the Camel estuary as you can see.

Blimey. I walked from London to Bath a few years ago which was totally flat - my backpack was 9kg which I thought was a bit much. 16kgs up hills is going some.

Scabbacombe (I think), which I’ve done before & was not easy with no pack, my daughter was ahead & all I heard was ‘f*** me’ when she realised it continued up after the bend rofl
