To offer a few truths....
it is not nearly advanced as the UK

smile Having just spent the day riding in the Atlas mountains from a Berber village, I can promise you this is true wink.. The people today were wonderful - for example as we rode up a mountain to a smaller village for lunch, people in small 'hamlets' on the way would see us coming and come out and offer us water as we passed, which amazed the kids no end!

And even though it's generally not that advanced outside of the major cities, I'm in the Atlas right now and I've got a full compliment of signal bars on the phone - which I struggle to get in leafy Herts...

I'm doing a 10-day Jebel Sahro trek in December and can't wait! Any tips from those who've done something similar?

The trip starts and ends at Marrakech. I love Moroccan lanterns, glass, mirrors etc, maybe a rug. Where's the best place to buy these?
