you can leave your car outside the villa if you are an argumentative sod like me. they tried to get me to move it 3 times but i never did.

my advice would be if you have any problems at center parcs, tell them you're on a press trip and their PR dept. told you it would be ok.

I've never been and the idea horrifies me....we now have a young family so will probably go there in the future. Mate of mine has been to Centre Parcs in France, he said it was cheaper and obviously also has better weather...

I've been to the Sherwood and Cumbria ones - they're excellent when you've got kids - I would recommend.

The supermarket was not bad IMHO, and the whole site is extremely pushchair / pram friendly especially the numerous restaurants - so it really does depend on your priorities if you like it or not.

If you've got kids you'll likely spend an inordinate amount of time at the pool complex anyway, and if a whole lot of you go, then cooking in is great fun and costs next to nowt.

Car park - I found it pretty good and safe.

Found it refreshing to park up and not think about driving for a week!
