Anyone using a Smok Mag?
Currently have the Vaporesso Revenger, which is brilliant if a little heavy on coils, thought it’d be the last mod I’ll need, then bam, local shop shows me the Mag and I want one, if only for the battery loading like a gun magazine (I’m still 9 years old at heart and like things like that)

I know there’s a couple 18350 fans on here. These are awesome little cells!!

Pretty sure they’re the same cell just different stickers. And 99% sure these are the same cell as the legendary 10A Aspire 18350’s that are no longer available. Also they should be the same as the new Vapcell 350’s. Fogstar should be getting these in soon if you prefer the fancy wrapping but they’re the same underneath.
I’ve been running these in series on the Pulse BF @ 1.04ohms & just under 8.1A. Really nice cool vape around 67w. I wouldn’t build much lower though as they’re a 10A CDR cell so don’t want to push them too much.

Yup, I was until I was a buffoon and dropped it, cracking bit of kit, although heavy as hell (handy in a self defence situation, perhaps?!?). Experimented with a few different types of Smok coils and found that the 6 hole T10 .012ohm Dectuple coils worked nicely.
Also, do yourself a favour and pick up an 8ml tank glass from eBay. Mine was a whole £3.95.
Would appreciate some advice please. I have a NERO mod rated at 70W. I'm currently using old UWELL Crown tank.
I've just got an Aspire Athos tank with preinstalled 0.16ohm coil and I'm running at 60W.
Problem is not much vapour plus the tank and mod runs hot.
Is my mod compatible with this tank/coil? Should I try to 0.3ohm coil instead?
edit: I just RTFM and looks like recommend wattage for 0.3 ohm coil is 60-7% so I've switched that over. Hopefully that'll improve things.
Been looking at mods and surprised at how cheap they are now. Tempted to go for a 220W Smok mod kit but not sure if it's worth it. The size of my current mod is just about usable for me.

For those thinking of buying Smok kit, don't! The quality just isn't worth it for the prices they charge - have a Google and you'll be inundated with stories of dead mods, peeling paint, leaky tanks etc etc. Quite a few guys on here have vowed never to buy Smok products again due to having issues prematurely in their lifespan YMMV.
I picked up a cheap Smok tank from the US and I’ve only used it twice.
Leaked everywhere so tried it with a different type of coil and yep, it leaked everywhere again. Been sitting in the cupboard ever since. Might give it another go one day.
Mind you, I tried a Vandy Vape RTA for a few weeks but that leaked too so I’ve been using my trusty Uwell Crown 3 with a 5ml tank ever since.
Reminds me, I’ve got to source a spare glass for it as I managed to crack one last weekend. Should be fun as you can’t get the 5ml tanks in the UK.

I’m conflicted now, really really want the Mag but if Smok stuff is really that bad may have to avoid?
I have the Vaporesso Revenger at the moment, it’s pretty darn good however seems to be eating through coils rather quickly, 4-5 days, unsure what’s causing it, thought it might be the new riot squad juices (which taste fantastic by the way) but even with my trusty Double Drip juice which I’ve used since forever, it seems to be happening, any suggestions?

After breaking my mag, I've bought another Smok product. Didn't have problems with the mag, Mrs hasn't had issues with her V8 stick, my T-Priv is working absolutely fine. Make sure they're screwed together properly, don't leave the "lid" open, if it leaks, clean the seals and threads and rebuild.

Budget? What kind of 'performance' are you used to? Do you use any temp control elements or just power mode? I'd look at asmodus for higher quality mods. I stuck with Jaybo and got the RX Gen3 (My original RX200 lasted two years and didn't actually die!) but the button is already a bit wonky after two months so I wish I'd spent a bit more on one of these

Someone from work got a Smok Mag and I'm liking the flavour and vapour. It's a bit on the big side but nothing I've tried so far beats the flavour and vapour.
Anyone know where I can get one with the 8ml tank? The guy from work got 8ml tank kit with x2 batteries for £60 however source is a bit dodgy so I prefer buying it elsewhere myself.

8ml tank not available from europe legally, best to get it from china, gearbest or fast tech, choose your poison ( I use gearbest for authentic gear)
