I have awoken this morning with new aches and pains, or maybe they're not new and have just migrated to a different part of my body, anyway, today's special pain is a stabbing pain in my left shoulder!!! grumpy

Right, time for a shower.

Ha! Look at the time! 7.35 and I'm waddling off to have a shower. It's nearly lunchtime.

Absolute shower.

I got a whiff in a restaurant and thought the back door to the bins must be open combined with a visit from Dynarod and a local outbreak of dysentery.

Then I realised it was my lunch which had just been put on the table.

1970... the year I started school, The Beatles officially split up even though the last time the four of them were in the same place at the same time was for a photo shoot in John's back garden the previous August (proper bit of trivia there, goodness me...;) ), the year of 'Kelly's Heroes', the English world cup squad being gifted brand new Mk2 Cortinas, Jochen Rindt became posthumous F1 world champion and Jimi Hendrix shuffled off to another plane altogether.

I feel old. But not as old as Dicky!
