Some nice pairs on here! I've got a bit of a thing for three stripes - I've lost count how many pairs I've got.

These have arrived in the last couple of weeks or so...
Few of us on here are big into adidas! Looks like you have very similar taste to me!

Gotta be Adidas for me. Had the odd pair of Onitsuka Tiger over the years too.

Considering some Stadt in green now as well. It's like a disease this trainer buying business - I've got quite a few pairs that I haven't even worn! rolleyes

Stadt are a lovely trainer! I don't buy from size, was a decent client 1 pair a month for a year probably but they kept dropping the ball so I just don't use them at all now, which is crap because the recent city series was amazing! Hanon and End have always seen me right.

Tell me about it, I have 50+ pairs now easily all adidas, spzl soon so that will be another few pairs. I wear all of mine but due to covid must have 8 pairs I haven't worn yet! I also occasionally double up on pairs I love and are in the sale.

Yeah, they do have the odd set of nice Size exclusives but you've got to vote with your feet if you've had crap service (pun intended!).

Bought the Stadt from Scotts. Couldn't resist.

I love those Josh, I really like the retro-hiker vibe.

Not at 175 quid though. That's proper mountaineering boots money.

Finally got hold of a pair of B41812 Blue to go with my B41810 Green.

Bought the green ones at 11pm on an app while sat absolutely hammered in a bar in Dublin. They quickly became one of my favourite to wear.

Bloke who did the sticker for the B41810 is making me one of the B41812 as well, going to try photoshop the train on Liam's foot to be blue.

Just had these delivered which were £60

Wasn't a fan initially then saw this colour and thought I'm having them like.

They remind me a lot of Puma Mostro from back in the day but infinitely more comfortable.

Just bought these, always wanted a pair but thought I wouldn't get them as they were too much money for me, but with a discount code got them for £80.

Prost!

Sensational deal on those, unfortunately not in my size! I love the design of the Trimm-Trab and the München but I could never get on with the Trimms I had for a full day's wear. Hopefully they're a cut above, being German made.

I have 5 pairs of Trimm Trabs as you say really uncomfortable for a whole day especially if walking is required, perfect for a trip to the pub but not much more! They don't break in either as I have worn a pair a fair bit to work and they are still uncomfortable I really like the look of them though.

I was after these in a 10.5 for a while and couldn't find them anywhere apart from Graffiti Store in Italy who now won't ship to the UK.

Out of the blue, Diadora's website suddenly showed a 10.5 so I snaffled 'em. Must have been a return cos they're now out of stock again.

Made in Italy N9000 x LC23 (Leo Colacicco) "Leone". Crazy materials, mega quality.

How accurate is Adidas’ view on their NMD_R1 running at least one size smaller? How much bigger should I go?

ETA: Reviews on the site say it’s the right size, so that’s weird.

I'd rank the Trimm-Trab alongside (controversially) the Nike SB Janoski as the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever owned. For a long time I thought I'd bought a duff pair with some manufacturing defect. They were going to languish in the box until the sole crumbled, so I punted them on eBay to someone who seemed delighted with their purchase. I'm almost relieved you found them as unpleasant to wear as I did. I think it's all in the sole, which might as well be brick.

100% the sole is really stiff, the upper is pretty terrible also, I just really like the style. These will be worn on the first pub trip with the boys, which is likely to be my best mates stag so I wont be thinking about how comfortable my shoes are after a few beers smile
