I've put the boys suits on Vinted, 5 piece suits and in the description it says " 5 piece suit (trousers, jacket, waistcoat, shirt , tie).
First message, "does it come with trousers?"
I get stuff like this. If you get it again, reply with, "Hang on a second let me just check the advert. Ok, back now. Upon reading my advert it does appear to include trousers."First message, "does it come with trousers?"
They don't appreciate it.

How hideous is this. Imagine, firstly buying it, and secondly putting it in your house in the first place!?...

I thought they were selling an actual dog when I started reading it

I have had a couple of results from Facebook lately. While getting the Christmas tree from the loft I was reminded f the old one we have had up there That I have been meaning to throw out. It looks and works (built in lights - council) ok, so I put in on as free to collector. Literally seconds later I had a message asking for it, and they turned up a couple of hours later and took it away. They may well be selling it on, but it saved me a trip to the tip, so not too bothered.

Then I had an alert for Land Rover parts pop up and saw a rear roll bar/cage on sale locally for £40, which is an absolute bargain and I assumed was a mistake. Turned out to be genuine and was a reduced price due to lack of interest and people messing him about. Also the ad included "space saver" in the title for some reason, so may have confused things. I picked it up that night, had a good chat with the seller about the trials and tribulations of old Land Rover and then got it home and fitted a few days later.
I have been looking for a second hand 900-1000 gas cooker, we plan on redoing the kitchen with an extension at some point, but we don't know colour scheme or placement etc yet when it is all built, but in the meantime I just want to take out two cupboards (one low one high) and fit in a reasonably tidy second hand unit.
The choices range from
£100 "nothing works, but everything else works fine"
£150 "Something is broken and it is f
king filthy"
£200 "It is f
king filthy and up 56 flights of stairs"
£600-900 "it's in my garden, if it is isn't gone by Friday I will scrap it".....I will come get it for scrap Saturday morning then "you can have it £1.50 off, I know what I have got"

I decided to put my VCDS dongle up for sale since it is only fully compatible with cars older than 2015, hasn't been used for 5+years and I thought it unlikely that I'd own another VW group car of the right age to make use of it. Was very surprised to see several listed for around what I paid for it over a decade ago so pointless keeping it "just in case"
It took about 5 weeks to actually sell but until then I had people offering half the amount it was listed for, several offering to send a courier and transfer money, about 5 messages claiming to be Facebook security and asking for my details, one wanting it held for 2 weeks until pay day at a 25% discount and one saying he couldn't afford it but could he borrow it for a few hours!
Ended up selling for full asking price to a polite chap who came within a couple of hours of his first message and handed over the money with zero haggling.
On the buying side, my kids are very into Lego just now but building their own creations rather than actual sets. I've had several bargain purchases of mixed Lego including a bin bag full for about £25 which was easily worth many times that
