That "Skyfall" place where people go to replicate the James Bond scene in their cars. I've never seen a picture that is anything other than underwhelming. Even in the movie it was underwhelming.
You're correct on that, speaking as someone who has taken the very picture you refer to. However, it's lovely valley in reality, and I enjoyed bombing down the road in the evo (where there were clear lines of sight). It was also part of a larger tour for me: Glencoe and Applecross.I have contacted an old friend of mine north of the border who will be offering a tourist guide for the dedicated skyfallers.
He has a large life sized cut out cardboard (laminated) of Daniel Craig that can be placed nect to the car so the skyfallers can pretend they are right there next to Bond.
I suggested that his mother ( a lovely woman who makes porridge to die for) resembles Judi Dench and she could be uitilised.
The plan now is to make this spot into a famous go to place.
Much like the crossing on Abbey Road immortalised by Paul McCartney on his "Paul is Live " album of classic songs by him and the Beatles

The irony being the crossing that people recreate the photo on isn't the original crossing from the album cover. It was removed and replaced with the current one further down the road.ntiz said:
I really hope football doesn’t “come home” it’s going to send the bell ends of the country into riot mode for a week.
Plus some people will never shut up about it. Like it’s one of the greatest things to happen ever.
And yes I am a miserable bugger today.

- That* song will end up at No.1 for weeks and people won't stop going on about it.

you're not a miserable bugger about that - I feel pretty much the same. Mind you it'll stop the terminally boring from banging on about 1966 and all that!!Plus some people will never shut up about it. Like it’s one of the greatest things to happen ever.
And yes I am a miserable bugger today.

Well I hope we win just to piss you off.Plus some people will never shut up about it. Like it’s one of the greatest things to happen ever.
And yes I am a miserable bugger today.
And all the other bell ends that don't like football....because everyone that doesn't like football is a bell end and worthy of derision.
That's how it works right?

I don't think you're miserable. I think you're absolutely right and winning the football game would be bloody awful. It's hard enough to avoid even now but winning will simply make them insufferable.Plus some people will never shut up about it. Like it’s one of the greatest things to happen ever.

Maybe I'll join football haters anonymous.

Lol I said something similar earlier to my female colleague who has as much interest in it as I do, i.e. none!!Plus some people will never shut up about it. Like it’s one of the greatest things to happen ever.

I said to her, we win and there will be no end of us going on about it until the world cup in 2 years time, we lose and it will be quickly forgotten about with a few days of football fans going on about how crap we are.

All the football haters - yes, sorry, you are simply miserable buggers. Do you think if England lose that the whole country will be back to normal as if the second biggest single sport tournament on the planet hadn’t existed? Are you genuinely that stupid? Win or lose the coverage will be massive, and, possibly, there’ll be more of an inquest should England lose.
So yes you’re not fan, that’s fine, we all like different things, but just live with it that there’s a huge tournament happening just across the channel and for the first time in our history we’re in with a chance of winning it.

Errr, they were in the 2020 final were they not?Bloody hell, I know people denigrate football fans as being a bit thick but c'mon, you don't have to make their case for them.
