Set up a WiFi network called “chemtrail monitoring station”

Play the long game and wait

We did something similar when we lived in a block of flats with ridiculous selfish neighbours

Something like “FWnoisemonitor”

First Wessex were the housing association

We believe it actually worked as it really died down a few days later
My WiFi network was renamed to "Undercover Police Van" by my teenage son smile
I believe there was a poster on here a year or three back who was having trouble with people selling drugs from a neighbouring property. He changed his wi-fi name to XXXX Constabulary Mobile Surveillance Unit, and the problem went away.

We used to have that.
For anyone who knows me they won’t be surprised we have a couple of networks called LAN Solo and LANdo Calrissian.

Living on a boat in the Pacific Islands we didn't have access to a Local Facebook Group but now we are in Brisbane and keen to find out more about our new locale.
Well, everything covered over the last few hundred pages here is true !
Possible lost pets, helicopters, how much is X at X shop, etc, etc

We have a couple of rough families near here, they are the goto people for things like cheap car repairs, rubbish removal etc

I have seen them paint spraying, minimal prep, outside etc

The problem is when some unsuspecting person comes along needing something all the village idiots pipe up with their 100% recommendations

The person gets a rubbish job and has no come back really

Now when anyone asks for recommendations I carefully note who all the numpties are voting for and avoid those

A parent has enquired on my neighbourhood FB page for any part time jobs available for their 13yo.

Somebody has suggested a paper round.

Helpful, if they've got a time machine to go back to 1985 as well.

Must be different to the ones that are still active around us then.

What?

You can still do a paper round at 13.

If you can find somewhere with enough people who still want a newspaper delivered to their door...

A fair point, but in the village of about 1,500 close to where I live (far NW England) the local shop employs 2 sprogs for paper delivery. And yes, it does amaze me, and yes, the population is on the older side.

I should have qualified my post with "in a large suburb of Reading, where you can't swing a cat without hitting a Tesco Express".

Paperboys are long since gone round here.
