This gem was spotted in the wild today

No one reacted to it haha

There is also an elderly guy on a local group here, when a picture which contains women, you know like picking litter, local dog show, arms folded because of rats near a bin sort of thing - he always says something like “the blonde looks like a squirter” or something equally inappropriate

No one ever seems to react, I can only assume the Karen’s radar doesn’t pick it up and the blokes agree/ find it as bizzare as me and keep their heads down

As Joe Wilkinson said, "One of my testicles hangs a lot lower than the other two".

Looking for automatic driving lessons. My daughter has her test in four weeks. Anyone know anyone who has availability? I’ve tried Tony.

To be fair, we got our son's driving instructor off our local facebook group, in my experience they do tend to stick with pupils within a couple of miles of our town, coordinate the lessons so there's minimal downtime travelling between pupils and stick to the nearest test centre even though there are 3 within half an hours drive.
Leaving it to within 4 weeks of her test is another matter.

All kicking off on Nextdoor. Someone had their cat 'stolen' before Christmas. Lots of posts with pictures and badly designed posters asking people to share and check their ring doorbells (with no specific timeframe, just from 15th December until now) for suspicious people/cars/vans or even better to see if you can spot the cat itself.

Unsurprisingly, despite a good number of people regularly reposting the cat has still not turned up, nor have the cat thieves been found.

This has made the original poster very upset and angry. She was on the rampage blaming everyone in the community for not helping her out more, she has fibromyalgia so can't go out and look for herself and because not one single person offered to go out and look in bushes, check more than a months worth of CCTV footage minute by minute or identify 'a dodgy van' she feels she's been let down by her 'so called friends'.

The post has since vanished, unfortunately. Was looking forward to reading through the comments!

The cat is probably having the time of its life, being better fed and more pampered by another family, so it doesn't want to go back.

To be fair to the original poster, their former driving instructor may have had to stop teaching for any number of personal reasons.

Back in the early 2000s, SWMBO's instructor was a trainee who failed his final ADI test and so had to stop instructing entirely whilst she was lining up for her booked test. Cue a mad scramble by all the former pupils trying to find another instructor to take them on at short notice.

but far more likely that they think 4 weeks of lessons are enough,
wait for the "dont use XYZ, I had lessons and still failed"

Someone caused our local Facebook group to have a meltdown by posting his annoyance, anger and disgust that there was virtually no candles on show in people’s windows to mark the holocaust anniversary.

That is what is confusing, they want the kid looked after weekdays during term time for approx one hour between 8-9am unless I am reading it wrong

Maybe it's to get the 10yo ready and to walk them to school to make sure they get there?
