Since the 10th month is named after 8 (Oct)
and the 11th month is named after 9 (Nov)
and the 12th month is named after 10 (Dec)
then the 13th month should be named after 11
and the 14th months should be named after 12...
So it should really be on the 3rd of Dodecember.
You can add September for 7 (Septem)and the 11th month is named after 9 (Nov)
and the 12th month is named after 10 (Dec)
then the 13th month should be named after 11
and the 14th months should be named after 12...
So it should really be on the 3rd of Dodecember.
This is all because of the addition of July (for Julius) and August (for Augustus), moving the months 7-10 to 9-12. The original Roman calendar only had 10 months.

Greatest Hits Radio (paid for version) advertising the fact that there are no adverts on the paid for version.
I started to listen to Greatest Hits Radio as I don't like Ken Bruce. Every 5 minutes now they go on about how long it is before Ken joins them. Surely they must realise that they were getting a load of ex Radio 2 listeners who are fed up with Radio 2. GasEngineer said:

When I've just bought something on ebay (or Amazon) and I suddenly get loads of speculative links for ... the very same item. Dum heads, look I've just bought it ok? And you know I've left feedback and haven't returned it, so I'm happy with my purchase! Stop trying to make me buy another one!

Or when you buy a book and it says "did you enjoy the Oxford English Dictionary? buy it again"
