Is that right? I never knew that. I might have to start aggregating my foil into larger lumps. Doofus said:

“The C919 is China’s answer to the A320. But what is it like onboard?”
Our reviewer, who assures us he has flown over a million miles, books a flight from Beijing to Shanghai.
Does he book, 1st class, Business class, or standard economy, no, “I had pre-paid for an emergency exit row seat and was more than pleased with the legroom for both exit rows (19 and 20), which offer more space.” Very objective.
”Air China’s C919 seems to count on passengers to provide their own in-flight entertainment.” ‘Good luck, preventing the locals, using their electronic devices during takeoff and landing!’
However, our intrepid traveler saves the best bit for last; “As far as my passenger expectation goes, this C919 flight has earned a solid B in terms of safety and comfort.”
There is no mention of ‘safety’ in the article, was the safety briefing somehow lacking, did he trip up on entry to the aircraft, cut his finger on a sharp surface, fall down the airstairs? Why a score of B?
Plonker.

The fact that a pretty girl can end up being a millionaire because she made a noise on a video that impersonates spitting on a cock.
What the fk it is wrong with this world. We need an asteroid strike.
She had her 2 seconds of fame, saw her chance, and took it. Fair play to her. What the fk it is wrong with this world. We need an asteroid strike.
I've seen a video where she had to explain it to her grandmother.

She's very likable. She's cute. I'm happy for her. Plenty of money to go around What the fk it is wrong with this world. We need an asteroid strike.
Some people are millionaires just by luck of birth.

This Singapore hotel crowned the world's new best skyscraper.
The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat named Singapore’s Pan Pacific Orchard the world’s best new tall building. The 347-room hotel stacks four open-air terraces with different themes, highlighting a unique approach to high-density urbanism.
How much cobblers, is there to unpack, in that statement?

The design of new roundabouts, particularly the lane markings, which seem designed to create tight angles and therefore effectively force people to cut lanes, or weave between them, annoys me beyond reason.
You try to keep to the lane but you know, when it's busier, you're going to get run off the road, cut up and annoyed (beyond reason)
Specific example for me is the new section between Brampton Lane and Sandy Lane just outside Northampton. No streetview yet.
This doozy is just up the road though.
The technique for turnling left seems to be: approach in the straight on lane, kiss the inside of the roundabout, swerve off left.

And from the opposite direction. Notice how the RR is indicating right, but seems to have entered the roundabout from the straight on lane. It's basically pointless to have two approach lanes on these roundabouts, as anyone joining the roundabout at the same time as another car in the other lane is asking for a collision.
