Anyone into trainers/sneakers? (Vol. 3)

I don’t know much about trainers. My son is and wants some Nike Shox TL Black Racer Blue size 11. However, not only are they few and far between for over £200 but he says that some used ones for sale might be counterfeit. Have you guys got any advice for a clueless Dad who really doesn’t want to drop £250 on some shows that he may yet outgrow (as with the size 9 Jordans he got last Xmas!).
I’ve tried all of the links on the sticky thread and haven’t found any other than the ones that google throws up.
Pay retail for a colourway that's in stock I’ve tried all of the links on the sticky thread and haven’t found any other than the ones that google throws up.
I've just had a quick look and couldn't see that colourway in an 11 either. I had a bit of a mare getting that size in triple white as they released as womens...only too send them back because my right big toe rubbed too much to just grin and bare it
Thanks for the tip and for the new addition to my vocabulary ’colourway’.
How does ’StockX’ work? Bidding etc… what’s that about?

You can either pony up, or add how much you are willing to pay.

You're not alone, when I first started using Stock X I also found it a bittl confusing. There's a few tutorial vids on YouTube that might be worth a watch just to work out the mechanic of buying. As above, you can basically just buy a pair at the price they're selling for or enter a bit and wait, but it's not massively obvious the difference between those two functions for first time users I don't think. Stock X or eBay are probably you're safest bets for pairs no longer available at retail as they offer the most protection.

ebay is probably top of the list and then StockX / GOAT below.
Personally, I prefer ebay because you get to see the actual pair of shoes which you'll receive.
After smashing the best out of these this weekend whilst in Prague for a lad's weekend away I am really wishing I had tried for the CP company SPZL's as the colour seems a close match and I love it.
Think I'll have to branch out and see if NB or Saucony have something similar that I might like, fancy trying a different brand.

Scroll a few pages back for my screenshots of what happens when you change your country location on stockx. I still don’t understand this as it’s the bid price not the final amount once taxes and shipping is included.
Thanks. A mate in the US sent me a screenshot and it’s advertised at $200 USD… so I guess the equivalent is my bid price!Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
