Surely the Tate character is some sort of spoof/wind-up?
And apparently we "have to listen"

Undoubtedly toxic, but he's not the only one and it's not restricted to men.

The less famous of the Hitlers?
Apparently he was a malign influence upon his younger brother, who was formerly a jolly nice chap, passionate about music and interpretative dance.

I am not trolling? No. Making a dig about virtue signalling? Absolutely yes.

Attacking people who deviate from the official line isn't very bright. Tate has a following, it would be better to understand it than vilify posters who make any sort of positive comment about him. No one is forcing you to agree with their opinion.

Aven Hitler painted a nice postcard.
"Not very bright" LOL. It's internet chat. I'm not expecting to change the world. And what's virtue signalling about pointing out the Tates are aholes who are taking their followers for a ride.

If it’s “internet chat” PH is becoming very Internet chat, isn’t it. Anyone with an opinion differing from “the party line” is to be vanquished or, in some cases, banished.

So you’re bright, but the Tate followers are being taken for a ride. Is that the size of it?

Well quite. You have to be very special to think that calling these pricks what they are is 'virtue signalling'.

Have you seen the bks the Tates come out with?

The tweet I referenced alone renders them worthy of a place on the st list.

The different opinion line is so craven. It amounts to my arguments are sufficiently weak to incur avalanches of criticism I just can't counter & so I'm falling back on accusations of your authortitarianism. So much is out there now about these two jack in the boxes that's it's just not credible to give them any headroom unless you are in some way a fellow traveller.

There's no end of self improvement guys out there not on bail for charges as long as your arm. Pick one.

And that, in a nutshell, is where they get their support.

To the bored observer, a bitter spat over virtue signalling and white knighting.

Moving away from the Tates for a minute.

Some of the most interesting and educational biographies I have ever read have been those of criminals and people that many of the general public would consider reproachable.

Why? Because those who overstep the line are interesting in and of themselves, but also they help define the line and illustrate how far some are prepared to exceed it.

Also interesting is discovering the truth about characters who might have been vilified by popular opinion or for political gain.

I won’t name any names, because someone here will pipe up regarding something they read in the red tops, which has become “fact”.

This extends to everyday life. Some of the most decent people I’ve known have been criminals. Some of the most dishonest people held in high regard by the public at large.

TLDR: Few people are all bad and sometimes the apparent villains are the most interesting.

All this is true but in this instance these bellends are getting held out as cultural influencers that "we need to listen to"

Alleged criminalty aside, if people make a living from porn or prostitution or whatever then is up to them and none of my business really

But if you've got a young son and you are giving the Tates a fair hearing then you need to have a word with yourself.

I’ve got multiple young sons, with unrestricted internet access. They always have had. They are aware of the Tates and don’t run cam girls themselves.

I would always advise my children to give anyone a fair hearing.

Based on our interaction in another thread I’d question your last sentence

So given the tweet I posted above, how would a fair hearing of the tates look to you?

I'd ignored them until I read about their donation to The Worker's Party so I've had another look.
Just another pair of bellends who know how to use the internet to gain attention. Then given a form of legitimacy by people saying they need to be listened to rather than laughed at.

The downside of the internet age, and not an easy thing to manage.

Having unrestricted access to the internet for young sons is highly questionable, as there is a lot of really damaging material on there that they won't have the maturity to process.

Seems to have worked out fine so far. What with the crypto, forex and that nice African chief who will be sending them $50,000,000, as soon as our cheque clears and he can get his money out of the bank it's trapped in.
