She has a sore, runny, eye and has to keep her patch on - Ah, ha! Jim, lad - for 24 hours. Miserable. She is acutely sensitive to light and we are sitting in artificial night time.
Other than that, not bad. She has other ailments but we tackle them one at a time where possible. You'd think we would look at Death's Door, but we look okay. Which is nice.
Thanks for asking

Tray bake veg (sweet potato, peppers, red onion, celery and garlic) peppered steak and cheese and squash croquettes.
A veritable feast! We know Mrs Bobbers deserves it but do you?!!So, we have taken to feeding a fox occasionally when it turns up in the garden, we both thought it was very tame as it would just stand around 10 feet from us as we put the food out for it.
I'm sat on the floor watching YouTube when something in the kitchen catches my eye, I got up and went into the kitchen to find the fix just stood there waiting!!!
I chased the cheeky bugger out but she wasn't going to rush or run away, she just ambled out then turned around just outside the door and waited again!!!

I have just constructed an espresso martini for myself, great to have while I watch the sun set.
While I appreciate it's somewhat boorish to quote oneself, but tonight the Martini is a simple one, Co-op vodka, Sainsbury vermouth and 3 olives. It was either that, or a Tio Pepe on Ice. Tough choice. No sun, so watching the drizzle.

Yes, she had that with the other eye when it was done a few weeks ago. Scary bright colours, she reckoned.

Well I’ve survived another day but things got rather heated when I was paying the lunchtime restaurant bill and was asked if everything had passed well with the meal.
I told the waitress, no it was average (moyen). She asked why and I said just let me pay the bill please.
I would have gone off on one if I had started to explain so it was best to just leave.
I’m not fit to be around people in a social scene anymore, I just don’t have the patience or mental capacity to stay interested. And that’s just the tip of it.

Best wishes to the Pirate Lady C for a speedy return to normal blinking stereoscopic technicolourness.
I had one of me eyeballs done a few years ago, it wasn't too traumatic, just a bit of mild discomfort for a few days and a big improvement to my vision.
It's getting to the stage where my left eyeball isn't good enough to see through the misty starburst effect lens filter, so it's something to look forward to sometime in the next year or so.
Mrs Robbo is going for a pre-op opthalmic consultation for her twin cataracts in a couple of weeks time, so when she eventually gets her ops, I'll be acting as duty nurse for the duration of her recovery.
I suppose I shall have to wear a nurse's outfit...
