Are you sure it wasn't a coded missive?

If you work out the theme, you can guess loads.

But you might be wrong and still only get three.

frown yes, yes, I know, I said I'd never own a BMW, and yes I'm aware that it's made by BMW, and contains lots of BMW bits, but it doesn't say BMW on it!!!

My only real concern is that there's a bit of a rattle on cold start, it's hard to explain, it's making a noise but the noise goes quite quickly, on idle it's quiet, is this normal? Is it terminal? Should I be walking away? Searching the internet it's all doom and gloom, death rattle, timing chain issues, etc, etc.
Looking around at prices it varies massively from a few hundred quid to around a grand to either do tensioners or a full chain kit.
Hydraulic tappets pumping up, possibly?

There must be something wrong with me, buying a secondhand car is the start of the adventure. Buy it, live with it, learn what it needs, improve it. It's like having another hobby.

I love the Welsh National Anthem. The crescendo of the last line of the chorus always gets me.

We've popped out for a bit of lunch, saw a fella drive past in an old V12 XJ-S.

Had a blown exhaust, it did. What a lovely noise, sounded like a low flying Spitfire smile
To celebrate my returning to the garden to do a bit - first time for a long time - you all very kindly laid on a low-level flypast of a Lancaster. I was very chuffed, thank you.

14.30 hours over Newbury if anyone wishes to check on its credentials.

IIRC, last time it was a dearth of anchovies.

Out of interest,do you add croutons to your Salade Niçoise?
My croutons are really rather special.
Croutons are for Caesar Salad round our house. And Caesar Salad has been moved to the Rare Treats List on account of the cheese.

Finally my car arrived from Japan. Very nice, very clean, very dull. It's a C200 estate auto in invisible silver.

A Dove Juice Machine it isn't.

Dove juice?

Made using a Coo Press.

I see. I don't really.

I'm saying a C200 estate isn't a Coo Press.

If anyone wants a 54 plate Golf tdi auto with 130,000 miles and the airbag warning light on for a grand, let me know soonish. We Buy Any Car just upped their offer to £950 but would knock it back when I got there. Y'know, as they do.
