Very sad to hear this. Just listening to the Sound Of The 70's on Radio 2 now and Bob Harris is paying tribute to Johnnie Walker. I liked listening to Johnnie. He had a pleasant informative style. RIP.

That's actually not bad, doing what you love until very late 70's. Not like he retired in his early 60's and then went soon after.

Yep - he'd have thought it was 2 months too long, I reckon.

Johnnie Walker was also a petrolhead. He raced stock cars and I think later on midgets.

As a kid I was going to be autograph hunting him in the pits at Tongham raceway one evening but unfortunately he broke his leg in an accident before I got there.

Born in South Africa, not really a top flight player, he would rarely get past the early stages of a tourney, film star good looks, he wouldn't be short of company on tour.

Here he is with the rest of the Reservoir Dogs

I know she had lots of surgeries but how exactly do you spend £2 billion plus millions in support payments per year.

Her choice, obviously, but many charities crying out for that kind of support.

I’ve not seen anywhere that she gave to charities. Just curious how you spend billions.
