Sunday is forecast to be a bit brisk here in good old CO; snow due on the Saturday to liven things up, then a high of 8 degrees, and a low of -9 degrees.

Not quite up to fttm standards, but those are Fahrenheit temperatures.

Temp difference between Saturday and Monday here in the NW Highlands (it's right by the sea, so would have been much colder inland).

Low chance, but high reward - a small chance of a Scandi high (beast from the east territory)

Sorry chaps - should have uploaded this much sooner. We had a ride across the A66 and this was Stainmore Summit last Saturday. Absolutely spectacular in all directions.

Good times.

Apart from the frozen pipe that meant my central heating wouldn't start. hehe

Yo-yo continues, minus continuing with 32 this morning to 6 to 1 twice then back into mid minus 20s , ridiculous.

It certainly makes working a bit easier now its thawed.
I really hate this dark, wet time of year.
Roll on summer (so we can complain it's raining).

Someone I know at the airport says they are working on something significant hitting from the 24th.

The recent cold and snow has ruined the paint on one of the displayed aircraft, guess its the prolonged cold and the snow sliding off taking paint with it.

This is interesting. I've got half an eye on a potential medium distance, in-country (well, southern England - West Wales and back) journey the weekend of the 25th. Hmmm.

Positively balmy here in south Derbyshire, after a dull start it's blue skies and double digits. I put a fleece on over a t-shirt to go to the pub and I've taken the fleece off en-route.

This is the correct timeframe, but it's far from likely at this point.

Any chance of some sun and blue skies in the southeast? 10 days forecast for Aylesbury is nothing but fog, gloom, cloud and rain. Talk about depressing. frown

I’ll take the opportunity to gloat (sorry… not sorry!) , as Scotland has the reputation for bad weather. Been beautiful up here in NE, blue skies & sun.

I’ve been told a few times that Aberdeenshire is one of the sunnier areas in the uk. Not sure if it’s true but at the moment we’re enjoying it while we can!
