Windscreen and rear window still completely frozen, seems it was a bit nippy last night.

Today's walk on the Costa del Fylde.

A perfect winter day with views into the lake district

Any chance of some sun and blue skies in the southeast? 10 days forecast for Aylesbury is nothing but fog, gloom, cloud and rain. Talk about depressing. frown
Had a glorious day in Banbury yesterday, I even took a phone call outside in the warm sun - heavenly.

It amused me on the M4 today that the traffic cones are totally black on the side facing the traffic and bright orange and reflective on the rear. hehe

Having lived just outside Banbury for nearly 10 years, there is no chance you had a glorious day there. wink

It's going to be around 2 or 3, not as bad as last weekend. No snow, despite the "Wall of Snow heading for..." Daily Express headlines

Scandi high will be a flash in the pan - zero interest to cold lovers.

Next weather regime likely to be polar maratime - cool NWerlies. Maybe some interest for the hilly NW facing parts of the land.

You get weather warnings for 2-3 degrees? Is that a thing now?

Canadian Prairies , temps dropping to minus 34C on Sunday for a couple of nights , currently -8 but in the middle of a blizzard with nearly all highways closed across Saskatchewan and Manitoba , 'tis grim today .

Meant to take a picture this morning, but noticed the first snowdrops where 8 days ago we had a foot of snow. Don’t recall them so early before.

My mum has just come back from South West Scotland, been to Great Cumbrae(?) island just off Largs yesterday and she was quite excited to see snowdrops!

Wow, just goes to show the differences across our relatively small island - I was looking for any sign of bulbs poking through the ground today and couldn't see any trace at all of anything here in Aberdeenshire.

The permafrost in Macc won't give way to seasonal flora for a few weeks yet.
