Tickets anyone?

I've removed myself from Twitter, so not as well informed as I used to be - but looks like our first proper cold spell is building up
Please keep all arms and legs inside the Snowlercoaster.

Current predictions have us (Deeside) forecast to be, with wind chill feeling like -11.

Usual winter then!

I’m in the snow warning area but current forecasts for surrounding areas is 10-12deg. Hoping as we get closer that drops and we see some snow. All the charts say snow but don’t match with the forecasts.

BBC weather has sleet/light rain for us in central Bucks, but Netweather says similar to you. Last time BBC weather predicted light rain, we got a few inches of snow. Buckle up!

Do I need to point out again why you never trust the BBC forecast?

Snowed quite a bit this morning here in West Lothian. Turning wet pretty quick temperature hasn’t dropped enough yet.

And yet if one checks for specific areas within that yellow blanket, from Derby down to Bicester, it just gives decent weather until Sunday with some early morning sleet then rain. It mentions a possibility of snow but with low confidence in the written summary for each area.

The met is always so contradictory.

That's what happens when you leave the handbrake off in Kirkstile car park and have to recover it from Crummock Water. wink
