Tell us something really trivial about your life Volume 41
Discussion
I've never spent money at Anne Summers but, in the interest of keeping things trivial, Anne Summers paid me fifty (50) quid once.
I had a bit of a hobby designing humorous (juvenile) teeshirts for a while and Anne bought one of my designs. Plus gave me a free teeshirt (which doesn't fit).
To be fair, Anne made a better job of the graphics than I did.

Titties.
I can see why Ann went for it.

Good morning all. Early weekend start for us as we’ve a distance to drive to collect the tipper truck. Agent M won’t be impressed with having to get dressed so early again.
Forecast is good, dry and sunny for the most of the day.
Have a good day all.
Fout.

Today is the start of my holidays. Off to that Caribbean tomorrow. Yippee!
Morning team trivia
Up earlyish for a Saturday as I’m off to the museum for a 4 hour opening on the run up to Christmas. No Vulcan cockpit tours but everything else is open. We do this for people to visit and buy items from the shop for presents. 3 hours travelling for 4 hours volunteering. I must be dedicated.
I might get to have a peek at our Tornado that is being restored in one of the hangars.

We made quite a lot of the fuel supply system for the Tornado, sadly we are no longer supporting the platform, along with several other legacy platforms.Up earlyish for a Saturday as I’m off to the museum for a 4 hour opening on the run up to Christmas. Did I ever say my dad worked for Alan Cobham at Flight Refuelling just after the war?About every ten minutes.
Oh, do I? Getting on a bit. Starting to repeat myself.
Starting?

Good morrow fellow Trivialites everywhere
Actually feeling more rested this morning than I have all week.
A busy morning ahead, shopping, cleaning, getting the Christmas decorations down from the loft, then this evening over to friends for a meal and a catch up.
Enjoy your day whatever you're doing!!
Gude Moaneve Wunnan Dawl.
My Elbow Test this morning was reassuringly negative, which was a big Plus.
There is an awful lot of stuff going on hereabouts at the moment, one of my best mates is in horse spittle with a runaway ticker, which the cardiologists have struggled to bring under control. His blood pump was going like the clappers, running at 160 bpm. Very scary. He was admitted to A&E on Tuesday, given an ECG & blood tests, but they were struggling to bring his heart rate down. They suspected either a heart attack or an infection.
On Wednesday he was moved onto the cardiac ward; they were saying they may try to reboot his ticker. he may need a Pacemaker. ( I doubt they have one that would be able to keep up with him )
An Echocardiogram revealed there has been significant damage, and he may not be able to drive his TVR.
He's a young chap, only 6 months senior to me.
By Thursday, they had brought down his heart rate to 135 bpm, still way too high.
Yesterday they diagnosed a pulmonary embolism, which explained his breathlessness.
He was feeling so bad, he declined a bed bath from the nurses, saying he preferred his missus to do it.
I am very concerned for the poor chap, and awaiting an update later today.
IONSTN, My Daughter #1 has at last had her gall bladder op scheduled for next Monday, after her initial op was cancelled, and suffering a long and often painful wait.
Extra Robbopopping duties have been rostered for next week.
EB is showing signs of going off on one again, so I'm keeping a watchful eye out.
Erin Dawes is struggling with her osteopaenia, arthritis and painful hips, and is becoming depressed and rather touchy. Beware a vegetarian with a short fuse.
Do not suggest that she needs to eat more meat.
It's not exactly a laugh a minute here at Robbo Towers, but hey-ho, gotta keep plodding on one day at a time.
Sorry about all the gloom and doom, but I'm a selfish old git and I find it cathartic to unburden my thoughts.
I suggest you pay no attention to my pathetic ramblings...
Lots of people are far worse off than I, so I'll just count ny lucky stars.
Even if they do turn out to be rusty sherriff's badges
Please carry on.
Bobbers, I hope the garage can sort out your seized ends and you can then exploit Ivor's new boots to their fullest.
It will be nice to feel you're getting a grip.
Magoo, good luck with the new tipper truck.
Hammo, your dedication to the Solway Aviation Museum is most commendable. I have often wondered about the distance you have to commute to get there.
If there's anything you need to know about that Tonka, Bomma's yer man*. It's probably got his fingerprints all over it.
* If he can be arsed!
Finally, psi, enjoy your break in the Caribbean, ya jammy git!
We're not jealous.
Not at all.
No sirree.
Not one bit.

Blimey glenrobbo! I do hope your mate pulls through ok and everyone else you’re connected to fares well mate.
We are just in now after our jaunt to collect the tipper truck, happily uneventful and it looks the part.
It’s rugged with a strong tipper body so will take some punishment.
Thick fog for part of the way there and back.
Time for some flask tea to finish and then some soup I think.
Photos of tipper in a bit.
Bon voyage psi you lucky ducky.
Here we go.
