Once upon a time I had tennis/golfers elbow. Tried all sorts of things including massage, something that buzzed being rubbed against the tendon (not a rampant rabbit before you suggest it!) and wore a strap for some time.

Nothing seemed to get rid of it and I was on the point of having a cortisone injection when I met a chiropractor...in a pub, who was most refreshed.

I can fix that he says and grabbed the opposite arm and tweaked my wrist in some way and hey presto, it worked.

He gave me some technobabble about the body being in balance and a bit of string running up one side and down the other and that's what he tweaked. I must emphasise that at no point did he touch the arm that was hurting.

Anyway, that was about 5 years ago, but it's come back over the last couple of weeks. Before I head off to find a sober chiropractor I wondered if anyone had a similar experience, or did I dream the whole thing up. Hurts like a b'stard at the moment!

I am sure you're not making it up, but it really does sound a load of ol twaddle!!

I suffered Tennis elbow after a radial head fracture and it went away with a strap, support, and just stopping doing things that hurt it! I wa slucky though, they spotted it early and I was careful with it.

Have you tried another chiropractor? If he says he can help and starts working on the bad arm, you'll know one of them at least is full of st!! laugh
