The bad news is I'm the weight I was back in Feb.

The good news is I'm the weight I was back in Feb after an almighty meltdown that I've managed to unwind somewhat. The better news is I've lost 9kg+, some of that two or three times this year already banghead

My wiki entry wiki shows 0kg, and it's 10kg to go which is what I need to focus on. 5kg from 100kg and seeing some of you guys reach that milestone is spurring me on.

Away for the weekend so weighing a day early (and was the same weight as yesterday which was a bit annoying!).

Still some incredible results folks. I've seen a drop this week 0.7kg to get back within my 10kg-to-target zone.

I've come to realise that I can get down to 105kg easily enough with just some small tweaks to lifestyle (I can also shoot up to 110kg+ in the blink of an eye). Getting under 105kg and hopefully one day to 95kg takes a bit more effort. I'm a whole chunk lighter than after Christmas, but the same weight goes on and off over and over.

It was the end of the rowing (machine) season last month and I crept over 2 million metres for the year.

Woot! 103.4kg which is the lowest I've been this year. 10kg+ for the year (again!), but my head is currently in a good place (again!). I was 101.something back in October so that's the next goal. I haven't been under 100kg for a couple of years and think 2019 (on the thread - again!) got down to 95kg which is where I'd like to be. Wiki for me is the 'last' 10kg rather the up-and-down which has become far too normal - need to change something!

I started the year well, had a mini deviation, lost a bit, had a major deviation and have lost it again. Easy to get disheartened but we're all capable of losing weight even if takes a few fresh starts. Slimming world style for me with lots of rowing machine and a meltdown treat day once a week.

I see weight watchers in America are struggling financially now the jabs have become so popular.

Some decent updates recently, and a good week for me. I try and row 10k 6 times a week, although I've been short of that recently. Last week I had 4 days straight with no rowing and my weight dipped as my body stopped retaining so much water (or whatever it does). I knew this week I'd have to eat well if I was back on the rowing machine and wanted to maintain that or drop more - I've also really got the itch to join a water rowing club so may explore that.

I'm 7.3kg from my target of 95kg. Slimming world style and lots of exercise but a rule-free treat day Friday. Don't tell my head but I'm also 11.8kg lighter than when I got back after a Christmas break - some of it I've lost 2 or 3 times over this year! banghead The road from 105kg to 95kg is my focus.

Some great transformation pics folks. For those of us with terrible memories, it helps if people mention how they're doing it with updates.

A good week for me, another ~1kg drop. Now I'm 100,9 and a 2-digit weight feels within my grasp. Slimming world food, one proper treat day each week, bonkers amounts of rowing machine (and walking it seems).

The other side effect is my resting heart rate has dropped, my respiratory rate has dropped all without changing my exercise a good demonstration of what fat does to the rest of the body.
Seeing all the data that's available these days with smart watches etc. really helps me, little gains beyond looser-fitting clothes and belt holes.

-0.6kg which I think means this will start to get tougher. Had an exceptionally good week of eating and exercise. 100.3kg so hopefully next week will see me under 100kg.

Never too late to start if you've just discovered the thread or want to start over.

Usually update on a Friday but today I'm 99.8kg, having been 114.1 when I came back from holiday after Christmas. The sub-100 has been tantalisingly close for a few weeks, but I've made it.

I usually fall off the radar once I'm in the low hundreds and then I'm back to 110+ before I know it. Always been able to lose weight, but I sure can stuff it back on. Having a ~2 stone swing is just not acceptable. Hopefully I've now got my head straight! Aiming for 95kg and then might review where I am, but it was 2019 (my first year on the PH fat club) I was last that weight and I'm not getting any younger!

If I can do this, anybody can!

The scales continue to reward my efforts. 98.9kg today, 15kg+ lost with (slimming world style) diet and exercise. The focus of some of you guys is really helping me keep my head straight. Mrs 22 has a few months' break from health scans/tests so feels like this is a golden opportunity of lower stress.

95kg is the goal, but I'm already considering if I can get beyond that. I was 95kg last in 2019! Personal best 2k on the rowing machine this week, part of an online indoor rowing club of proper athletes who have been very generous in their support and look forward to new challenges.

A small gain for me 0.3kg. Nothing quite hit the spot this week and although I may have eaten things 'allowed' on slimming world - I simply ate too much of it. Last night I cooked a hunters chicken and threw a leftover sweet & sour in the microwave to eat while it was cooking.

It wasn't an absolute meltdown so I'm still relaxed about it, but will have my treat day and go again tomorrow. My personal best 2k, 5k and 30 minute rowing machine distance have all been achieved in the last 10 days so I've definitely not been this fit/motivated for a few years. As has been mentioned a few times, a smart watch showing improvements in resting heart rate and cardio fitness (and more) can be rewarding beyond the scales.

I've been off my rowing machine for a few days as life just got in the way. Been eating 'well' (slimming world approach) but my weight has dropped 2kg which might be a body water adjustment so a 2kg drop! I had a little (0.3) increase last week so it's a sensible level over a couple of weeks.

Keep at it folks.

Yep! And then as above, you get a bit down on yourself when you come off the rails. But you quickly feel a lot better about yourself when you draw a line under it. I'm an exceptionally fragile human being and, for me, exercise and diet go hand in hand. My rowing machine (the only piece of equipment I own) does wonders for my head. But I couldn't do it without the guys here.

The best day to make a change was yesterday - the next best day is today (said someone once, probably)!

1.2kg for the week! Down to 96kg with 18.1kg lost, I can't believe it!

6 month update. 114.1kg when I came back from a break over Christmas, one mince pie away from my weight being 18+ stone. Was down to 103.6 by the end of Feb and then wobbled, so a few weeks of ups and downs. 5th April I was 108.1kg and have been good since then. Slimming world style with lots of exercise and one totally rule-free treat day each week to feed the devil in me. I don't drink so don't have those extra calories.

1,177,000 metres on my rowing machine for the year (hoped for 1.25m for 6 months really), 2+ million steps. Resting heart rate 71 at the start of Jan, 60 today. I'm a smidgen over 15 stone today and my initial target was to have a weight that starts with a 14. I was last that weight (95kg) in the summer of 2019 and that was on this thread. I don't think I've had such a good run as the last couple of months. I'm 50+ and 6'3" and I think we all convince ourselves we're built to carry it - it's all lies.

Yesterday I opened a drawer of old T-shirts that I've not been able to get into for a while and many of them fit. Have two summer holidays coming up, but think my head is in a place to get back on it.

I go to the slimming world public weightbridge on a Friday (don't stay for the group thing - although did many moons ago). It's an extra layer of accountability, but it really helps keep my head in the game.

But mostly it's you guys and your own progress (or not sometimes). Each and every post reminds me we're human but capable of this.

Thank you.

Who's still with us? I've usually dropped off the radar by now.

0.9kg for the week which is great, but the scales taunting me at 95.1kg when my target was 95kg - I still can't quite get my head round it! Have a considerable summer of holidays coming up so I know the path isn't a straight one. 0.1kg away from being my lightest since 2019. I'm sadly a frequent flyer on these threads, but am in a strange place of calm and my head being straight for once!

Another 1.2kg, although it's been a week of some bizarre ups and downs. I also didn't use my rowing machine yesterday and the rest days can sometimes offer a drop before slight re-adjustment.

Every year I join up, say I want to get to 95kg but never get beyond the low 100 numbers. I lose my focus, or life gets in the way. I'm a yo-yo dieter with a 2+ stone swing, it goes both ways quickly. This year has been different. I'm my lightest for 6 years, I'm reasonably fit and I've lost 20kg+ (114.1 to 93.9), plus my age starts with a 5 these days.

I have one more Friday before an indulgent summer begins so plenty of battles to come but I need to get back to it - and right now that sounds doable. Slimming world style (low/no fat, but big portions and loads of carbs), lots of rowing machine (my only equipment) and a proper meltdown day once a week - it's still working!

It doesn't feel real to be among some great numbers on the Wiki!

Thank you guys.
