How long till the £20k Evora?

Today I drove an auto Sport Racer Evora S. Really nice one.

I loved the car, but I found the pedals too close together, I press the accelerator and brake at the same time, I had to take my shoes off.

Did they improve this on the 400?

I found this. If you look at the brake pedal it has a pointed but that sticks out towards the accelerator. It is crazy close to the accelerator.
10 mins with a file and hey presto! No sticky out bit! Looks perfectly OEM still and makes a world of difference.

the offset is a bugger too. if it's not a daily you have to reacquaint each time before any enthusiastic driving.

Had no problem at all in a 410 if that helps? Mind you I am modest in almost all dimensions

Never really bothered me.

In terms of the pedals, I just wear narrow shoes, again no problem

Fair enough. I said it would go quick just because of the state of the market and the unique specification. I also know that some people prefer this S1 styling.

I personally felt it was too expensive as well and the price was close to a 400, which meant I'd rather just pay a bit more and get a 400. That's the reason I decided not to go for it.

It's worth what someone will pay for it. As stated, the market is heated right now, supply is limited etc. Who knows!

Looks a nice car. Autos are usually a little cheaper though so that might count against it a little.

Well the new Emira, further details of which have been released today, hardly looks a game changer and is a clearly a stop gap car so I can't see it having much of an effect on Evora prices.

...does anyone think the same or otherwise?

No roadster indeed, quite a surprise I thought

I like it but still don't get the rear end - I know it deliberately apes the halo model Evija but, to me, it doesn't gel with the overall design.
