This has to take the prize for the most insanely priced Evora on the market. Around £25,000 overpriced.
Maybe £14k over but not £25k, market currently very buoyant, you'd be hard pushed to get a S Sports Racer under £40k ATM. Cheapest S on the market currently asking £33k.This has to take the prize for the most insanely priced Evora on the market. Around £25,000 overpriced.
But why would anyone pay that price, when a leading Lotus specialist has a similar spec/age/mileage car for £42k? I love yellow but that's just nuts.

I think it will be interesting to see how the Emira pricing turns out. How much will a nicely optioned V6 be? For me I don’t need the touchscreens and modern interior as Evora is a weekend toy. However I do value the rear seats (my 4 year old fits nicely) and rarity of the Evora. If the Emira hits GT410 sport prices and I can find a +2 in an interesting colour at a good price I think I would find it very hard to resist!
Wish Lotus every success with the Emira though.

This one's been on the market for a longtime, still not sold, something wrong with it that's not mentioned in the advert. I must admit lovely colour though

As discussed on another thread I'd wager the 'issue' is lack of Sport and Tech options. However in a few years time when early Evora prices have reached a new level I don't think they will be as sensitive as they appear to be right now to the presence or otherwise of 'all option packs'So assuming there is nothing fundamentally wrong with it, like a failing clutch, that car might make a decent long term investment particularly if it could be bought for a cheeky offer.
I actually like the colour but will confess I'm not keen on the Oyster trim.

Agreed. A sports pack is a must on one of these, makes is more desirable. Long term investment is a questionable though. The Evoras have a niche market, depending on how the new Emira turns out (should be as good as it looks) then it might draw some people towards the Evora. But everytime I took my Scooby to B&C, I always felt I want one. A similar specced one in yellow, I might consider it. So where have all the Evora S's gone?
Disclaimer, I'm looking at the EU market.
I bought a Red Evora S for around 50,000 EUR 2 years ago, got rid of it in 2020.
When I was Evora shopping there was a good handful of Evora S's, most before 2012, now there's only a handful of non-'S' cars and a metric ton of 400's...it's been like that most of the summer.
Any ideas? It feels like someone's just been snapping up inventory as it comes around, trying to corner the market and drip feed them out later on.

As mentioned on the other thread, I called about that car several times, left messages and got no reply... either Autotrader have messed up the phone redirect or something odd is going on there!http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2021070948...
Lovely colour combo as far as I'm concerned too :-)

Does anyone have a link to the 'other thread', and can perhaps help with some of the Sport options that make it more desirable, earlier in the thread? EDIT: found it.Lovely colour combo as far as I'm concerned too :-)
But any tips on what the Sport pack might elicit? Throttle map and TCS settings?
I've never driven an Evora, but it's part of a three-car battle for my affections:
Evora - not driven one, but having lost eight stone I can fit in one, and the appeal of a manual + V6 + RWD appeals
Z4M - if you've read my stuff for Modern Classics, you'll know I absolutely adore these. It's my type of car – engine with a chassis that just about keeps up, a bit of a car to wrestle with. I've a feeling the Evora – and this is a compliment – may be a bit too competent for my tastes, if you get me? That's why a Cayman S isn't on this list; I've also driven a Cayman R, which is almost twice the price for a manual, and is so much more exciting than an S.
GranSport – my heart wants this, but it has been a little spoiled by the GranSport MC Victory, which is so much more dynamic to drive thanks to its special steering rack. Just the two pedals as well; I like the Cambiocorsa shift but I would rather have three pedals... The MC Victory is also more than twice the price.
