There are many dynamics to this... I've come from a 911 and a DB11 to a GT410 Sport. Got to say that personally I find the Evora is far better all-round. it can be quiet on a motorway 200 miles, it can be epic and raucous on a B Road blast.

Suspension and tyres are awesome, the Cup Tyres are a bit tasty in the cold/wet, but adds to the experience and when its dry you can see the psi rise with tyre temperature and the smiles rise big time.

Financially, the bonus of the new is that of the 0% Interest, in comparison to the Porsche and Aston PCP deals, if you in effect deduct the interest that you are not paying, it all starts to make financial sense. A little bit of discount (not much) and trade-in offers etc and you're all sorted with good value for money and much better exclusivity and smiles than a common porker.

My only regret is having 911's for years, i should have swapped for an Evora well before now. and i'm saving money!!!!

The GT430 is an absolute steal at around £80k.
Can't see any for sale at 80k though.

Perhaps not relevant too much to this but I’ve just bought and 2019 GT 410 Sport with 16k km on the clock for the equivalent of 58k GBP.

Obviously a left hooker being out in the colonies but that price is fairy typical out here. The local dealer has brand new stock at 78k GBP.

I’m coming from a Ferrai FF - so the difference is night and day. Should pick it up next week. Here they both are in one pic.

Looks lovely and a good price compared to UK cars. I'm surprised that values should be lower there.

I wonder what the import cost of one would be? biggrin

Which colour green is it?

I’m guessing no VAT or other taxes in Dubai?

There is VAT over at 5% there’s also import duty which I think is also 5pct.

I think also that the relative weakness of the pound against the dollar has helped things. The local currency is pegged to the dollar.

The price is dictated with how the brand is perceived here and local tastes. For example we don’t get any 4 cylinder cars here from dealer they only import the 6s because the vast majority of the area don’t look on 4 cylinders as a viable option...

From recollection there has only been a proper dealer here for 5 years so still a brand in its infancy. However they are really ramping up for the new range of cars.

As for the colour it’s Racing Green.

Can’t wait to get it driven.

Was playing on the lotus site recently and decided the racing green, like the Dubai one above, is my favourite colour. Would love a GT410 one day, but as they are stopping production the chances of getting one in my ideal spec secondhand in the future is very slim! There will only be a handful to choose from in any spec I’d imagine.

Therefore, if someone doesn’t mind buying a new one now (like below) in racing green, black pack, black leather with white/yellow stitching and yellow callipers I’ll buy it off you in a few years!
But you probably wouldn’t want to sell it.....

Ok, that works... I'll get one on 2 year 0% PCP, we split the costs (proportion to be agreed) and you can buy it from me in two years at the GFV! biggrinbiggrin
