I think we was the most likely of the two teams to win last night but if we aren't clinical enough we'll bomb out in the next round.
It will be nice to sit back and watch the spuds roast in the oven tonight.....
For some reason considering Potter had supposedly never seen a champions league match before, all of the teams best performances have been in Europe. Thinking Home & away against Milan & Dortmund. It will be nice to sit back and watch the spuds roast in the oven tonight.....
It's always nice in the KO stages to be up first qualify & sit back & enjoy the rest of the games knowing jobs done.

Good read and yes....nice to see some shoots of recovery.I felt we had the better organised in midfield, Kante would had been in his element last night.
Cucurella was better but still needs to work on bullying opposition when tracking back.
This maybe is how Potter wants them to play but in the EPL it's not suitable based on how organised teams really are week in week out.

And nice and crispy they ended up as well.Pleasing to also see PSG slide down the plug hole as well.

Dortmund are being absolutely robbed here
Sorry, days after but even at the time, regardless of the harshness of the pen and re-take Dortmund were second best by miles - in both games. How they got away with the 1-0 win in Germany was mystifying.11 wins in a row, level with Bayern, ??? Honestly think Brentford Fulham or Brighton would have seen them off
Bellingham is clearly a talent and he's still young but pretty much anonymous in both games.

It's funny given the players available to them that they failed to score in either leg against Bayern.
Funny whilst also being a bit confusing. How on earth that trio can't hit the net over 180 mins against ANY team is odd. Aside from that winning the Champions League seems to require years of learning the hard way. Look at the Chelsea teams that have won it against those that came close. Those that came close would have trounced the Chelsea teams that actually did win it. Look at Man City, their CL record is abysmal 1 final & 2 semis & 2 failures to get out of the group stage in the last 11 years despite being dominant at home. In the 6 years after Abramovich came Cheslea had 1 final & 4 semis.
This Enzo chap is quite good……that second goal was sublime.
Some good performances today. How many times has Felix now hit the woodwork?
Even Potter made some good changes. Putting Conor on to give Maddison a couple of whacks & try to keep tabs on him when he was their only threat,
Leicester were dire though, and very lucky with cards, there were some dreadful tackles in ther.

Yep, two straight red chances at least one of which should have happened - did you see the scars on Havertz chest? 3 lovely goals from us though and some great movement and build up throughout, enough to start changing my mind about Ruben again. Leicester... not so sure they were dire, they had some good moments and could have scored more (which perhaps says as much about us) but I think we just outplayed them, simple as that.
