I mean, if you are in Europe you are probably going to have to play Real at SOME point in the competition, its a rare year they aren't in the the last 4.
Well we'd never played them up until 2021.

They won't be looking forward to playing us. We dumped them out in '21, and gave them heart failure when we went 3-0 up at their place last year.

On the face of it a tough road to the final. Not sure there are any easy teams when you get to this stage of the comp though!

A shambles for their 2nd goal. Koulibaly lost the plot and Kepa should have done better.

Was a bit worried the out of his depth mid-table manager had vanished. Luckily that only lasted 2 games, top work parking the bus to protect a 1 goal lead against a team in the relegation zone though.

I thought we looked to be playing some good stuff but lacked the end product of a focal striker. Gutted that they got stung by a sucker punch which I knew was coming. Other than the result, we looked like we were improving.

Agreed - we’ll get there in the end. The way I see it is we have 6 untouchables and we just need to find the best other 5 for a really decent team.

James
Chilwell
Silva
Kovacic
Enzo
Felix

I’d like to see more of Mudryk and suspect Potter’s just slowly bedding him in. Next year we’ll have Nkunku plus all this year’s signings will be up to speed with the EPL.

Think I’d give up on RLC as he looks too lazy plus Kante as we may as well profit from him (we can more than make up for his loss)

Even assuming we stump up what Atletico will want for a permanent deal, what would motivate Felix to stay with no European football (even of the Thursday night variety) on offer?

Playing any sort off football if the manager stays at Athletico, that’s why he left in the 1st place

I quite like Felix, he has some good defensive ball skill learnt by the sthousery before but I think he needs to work the final third better.
