I thought we looked to be playing some good stuff but lacked the end product of a focal striker. Gutted that they got stung by a sucker punch which I knew was coming. Other than the result, we looked like we were improving.
Agreed - we’ll get there in the end. The way I see it is we have 6 untouchables and we just need to find the best other 5 for a really decent team.James
Chilwell
Silva
Kovacic
Enzo
Felix
I’d like to see more of Mudryk and suspect Potter’s just slowly bedding him in. Next year we’ll have Nkunku plus all this year’s signings will be up to speed with the EPL.
Think I’d give up on RLC as he looks too lazy plus Kante as we may as well profit from him (we can more than make up for his loss)

Even assuming we stump up what Atletico will want for a permanent deal, what would motivate Felix to stay with no European football (even of the Thursday night variety) on offer?James

Great win for the ladies away at Lyon. One foot in the semi. Suspect the men might not be joining them there.
Wow, high drama last night in the 2nd leg. After 90 mins, we were 0-1 down so 1-1 on aggregate. Extra time and they score on 110 mins, so 1-2 down on agg(away goals don't count). 8 mins of injury time at the end of extra time, and we get a pen in the 127th min, score, so it ends 1-2, 2-2 on agg.
Pen shootout which we win 4-3.
Barca in the semi. Arsenal v Wolfsburg in the other semi.

I'm not sexist but cannot get any ounce of interest in Women's football. After 90 mins, we were 0-1 down so 1-1 on aggregate. I think a lot of this reasons is because they use the Club names invented for men.
