To be fair he was consistently poor with his touch, for months and months.
Years and years.
There must have been a reason we spent all that cash on him though. Somebody somewhere at the club must have seen his performances and thought that there was a player in there.

Congrats to that man - none of us saw it.

Sye is just sticking up for his secret love Kieta.

Loads in the TOS have slated the poor fellow.
He does not need sticking up for, his performances area already getting better game by game and people who are negative are commenting - people just judge far too quick , was the same with fabinho , now a guaranteed starter - same with OX - etc took them a few months to settle.

Same with Sissoko etc

Some players just settle quicker than others
Sissoko shouldn't need time to settle, he'd been playing in the PL for 3 years before we signed him.

You watch, Sissoko will score the first goal at the new ground.

Someone quote me, please, because I'm right.

Didn't think players had testimonials anymore.

Not sure, but I'd trust BCM's reporting more than theirs - he's been telling us for months there was no cheese room. We should have listened.

I bet its just a signing on fee mixed in with his wages like Emre Can - he got 14m over 2 years

Pretty standard for a 'free' agent

It's an £80m contract. For Aaron Ramsey.

No transfer fee though otherwise he'd probably be on less than half that. Same cost to Juve regardless.

Running down your contract is clearly the secret to mega money.

It's something that only seems to happen to Them over There with any regularity

I wonder if that will remain the case - quite a few players will be seeing this, the Sanchez deal etc. Maybe a little risky to do early on in your career in case of a big injury with "not much" saved in the bank. But if you've already got some millions put aside in case of a big injury it's probably worth taking a risk for a big pay day.

Let’s hope Eriksen hasn’t been watching the news.

Have we resigned ourselves to him leaving yet?

What's he on at the moment, £100k tops? He could easily triple that elsewhere and he doesn't really seem like the loyalty first type to me. I think he'll be gone by summer which will be a HUGE blow for us as I think he is one of our most important players.

I have, great player who will demand a huge fee. Can't blame him really.
