Will it be the capstone piece in Pep's perfect team, or will it be PSG with great players who dont fit?

Will they win the UCL at last?

Will Man U fans spontaneously combust in jealous anger?

We will find out...

I was worried tonight with our lack of centre halves and then we go an lose another one. Luckily, playing like that we don't need a defence.

ake didn't look anywhere near fit, so we could start on sunday with no recognised centre backs.

I’m not confident about a win against West Ham. The days of 5 goal wins have gone now with them and they’ve got the players to take advantage of our centre back problems.
Although the odds are definitely in our favour at the moment I must admit I’m surprised at the number of Liverpool fans on here who’ve thrown in the towel already.

I was annoyed we've got 2 academy centre backs on the bench - Mbete and Egan Riley. They could've easily have had some game time last night or against Newcastle just in case we need them in the last 2 games.

I'm amazed that you're surprised that Liverpool fans have thrown in the towel!

Realistically you only need to win 1 of your 2 games and we would have to win both of our games and outscore you by 6 goals to win it or 5 to take to a playoff game (I think). That's never happening especially when you've been banging them in for fun in the last couple of games. If you hadn't increased your GD by 20 in the last 5 games (compared to our 8) then it may have been possible but not now.

Come off it, do you look like losing and drawing your last two games?

Always expect the unexpected with City.

One thing I've learnt over the last sixty years. biggrin

You must be pleased Liverpool having to toil an extra 30 minutes in this blistering heat.
