McTominay is the pivot that the team should be built round. Not because he is the best player, but he is a lad who can play, is hungry, shows the capacity to improve and will be there for as long as he is wanted
He reminds me of a young Henderson when he was at Sunderland. Not a great player as such, but a good worker. Scored some good goals for us at U21 level (and was also captain I believe).guitarcarfanatic said:

We must have seen something in him to sign the player, but its taken him a while to get used to the prem.

k all. We got two world class defenders and a fresh young talent. We also retained one of the world's best keepers, and probably kept pogba for a year or so. If you honestly thought Utd would buy their way back to the top in one window Ord you are sadly mistaken. Sit in hold tight and buckle up because this is a season or two yet. Please don't be one of those people calling for OGS by October because it's not top of the league or similar.

Strikers we've got Rashford, Martial, Greenwood and at a push Sanchez (his last chance season) so I'm not to concerned up top. It's midfield where we're lacking. Bruno Fernandes has said he wants to come to the prem and we need a player in his position, it's a no brainer imo.Don't forget we've also got Chong and Gomes who will feature more this season and are forward players. Gomes is going to be top top class.

Honestly people can't see the wood for the trees. In previous years we'd be panic buying someone/anyone today. Don't forget we've also got Chong and Gomes who will feature more this season and are forward players. Gomes is going to be top top class.
Just sit back and chill Ord . This is in for the long haul. We've got some exciting players but the team need to find a style from a solid base which we've now bought.
Expect plenty of low scoring wins or draws this year lol

We know midfield is an issue, but I'm glad we haven't had our pants pulled down paying Dybala or Eriksen 300k a week if they aren't that interested
Up top I think we'll be ok, just losing Lukaku's trampoline esque first touch should mean more attacks at least make it to the box
I still hold out hope for Fred and think this will be Scotts breakthrough season
