Did not watch the game last night but did view the goals, such bad defending gifted Kane his two.
I agree LL Europe would be bad for us next season we need to bury all the dross and hangers on from previous management follies and let Carlo do his stuff.

Spurs where awful
Aurier - shockingly bad, not just his positional play but offers nothing going forward
Hojbjerg - such a limited player
Reguilon - rubbish in possession
Ndombele - clueless player, takes far too many touches and incapable of holding onto the ball, slow at decision making
As for Everton
Iwobi was his usual self offering nothing at all and terrible in possession.
Another 2 points dropped by Everton.
The Everton team is crying out for a quality winger on either side.
On a plus - Everton made the right call by sticking to their guns on deadline day and refusing Josh King’s agent a 2 1/2 year deal.
Fulham where prepared to offer him a permanent deal but he didn’t fancy the risk of ending up back in the championship; he will be fortunate to get one in the Premier league next season.

I've said all season we need a winger to replace Iwobi. We need 3 key signings in the summer, winger, RB (fingers crossed Arrons is a done deal) and back up for DCL.
I don't think Richie can be the out and out focal point for goals, he's better at cutting in and having someone to play off and we just don't have that.
I'd also like to see Simms playing in the championship next season out on loan

I think Everton need at least 2 wingers
It’s no secret that Bernard is free to leave and is not good enough
It’s also no secret Anchelotti doesn’t rate Iwobi and he only gets a start when the injuries mount up
The ideal scenario by the 1st September is for Bernard & Iwobi to have found new clubs (good luck with that) and 2 new wingers with genuine pace are added to the squad.

I can’t get my head around Iwobi, he has had one or two really good performances (Wolves springs to mind) and he always looks up for it but I can’t argue with your analysis. There’s no way we would get a decent fee and I can’t see another PL team buying him, can see him being loaned out, but I wish him well whatever. The break away league will have a big impact on us wherever the negotiations end up.

Bernard was wanted by a couple of clubs in January, but we didn't have the cover to let him go. I think there may be a swap with him and Olsen on the cards in the summer
Not quite trueEverton where willing to let him go, he’s one of our highest earners.
The Anthony Gordon loan was held up waiting to see if Bernard would go.
The problem was the Qatari club he was signing for where happy to match his Everton wages, but his agent demand an increase along with some other unreasonable perks and effectively Bernard priced himself out of a move.
Alan Myers will confirm if you ask him.
Hi all, visiting Hammers fan here. Well done Everton for this:-

Great post on the RS thread
Amazing to think that half a mile up the road, Everton were proudly announcing a smart new stadium financed on the predicted future revenues of being in a Premier League that was thriving with twenty teams.
When all the time, FSG were planning an exit that would have put your neighbours plans under huge threat.
Liverpool fans are great (apart from those that attack coaches). Your players are decent and your manager seems fairly principled,. Your ground is mightily impressive.
But your owners are fking money grabbing pricks, nothing more and nothing less. They've trampled the names of a lot of good people through the mud on this one.

Thats one of the overlooked important points. If this had succeeded then both Manchester teams and all 3 big London clubs would have moved together. The fact that Liverpool planned this knowing that Everton were out stinks. Not just shafting their own fans but also not giving a st about the rest of the city.Amazing to think that half a mile up the road, Everton were proudly announcing a smart new stadium financed on the predicted future revenues of being in a Premier League that was thriving with twenty teams.

UEFA have used all the ESL furore to slip into their new rules for 2024 this, talk about looking after the big clubs.
This has been slipped in by EUFA whilst all this has been going on, this cannot be allowed to happen, Earned not Bought the message has to continue.
In 2024, two UCL places will be given to the clubs with the HIGHEST club coefficient that weren't able to qualify to the UCL through their domestic leagues.
For example, if a club like Manchester United ends up ranked 6th in the Premier League, they would still qualify.
Furthermore, if, for example, a club like West Ham ends up 5th in the Premier League, and Manchester United ends up 6th, West Ham would qualify for the Europa League and Manchester United would qualify for the UCL.

It’s disgusting and makes a mockery of all the false claims about grassroots etc over the last few days. The changes to a league system with losers falling into Europa were bad enough, if football is ever going to reverse this cap in hand trend towards the big six it has to be now, while the iron is still hot.
