It took me a few seconds! I bet Rhodri is unsurprised.

I turn me back again and before you know it we're 3 pages into a new volume!

Arsenal was very dissapointing but not fully unexpected. Great news is we have a game tomorrow to look forward to! party

As for Giggs well he went down in my estimation after his first brush with the press and he's done nothing to endear me back towards him since, even if Rhodri has forgiven him, despite Ryan still having not apologised to him AFAIK. Now (allegedly) he's a GF beater. rolleyes Nice....

One has ultimately arrived at unwavering & unequivocal conclusion that Pogba will not achieve his potential with us.

Sad, but he needs to be moved on.

Covid - everyone is affected the same it isn’t exclusive to United

Summer window - club’s fault. Chairman or manager or both?

Lack of preseason - manager’s fault

Pogba- manager’s fault.

Ole can influence at least two of those above, arguably three and the Covid piece is just a red herring.
As A6 rightfully pointed out, if there's one thing clear after all these years is that Pogba isn't the player some still seem to make of him.

Just look at the impact Bruno had from the off.

Not all of that impact by Fernandez has been genius passes and intelligent play, there has been a lot of effort, industry and heart. Pogba must have looked at him in his first game and though to himself "fk, I'm going to be found out here".

I fear that even if we did get Poch in or anybody else actually, that they’re set to fail with the clowns running the club still there.

Hoping we start Cavani, VDB, Henderson.
Romero always did well in such circumstances.

I’ve said as much above, but there is a significant risk that a club that was making a big grab for total power in the PL last month is about to find itself fighting to stay in that league very soon.

Poch is more likely to get better results out of what we have.

You're right, I was being slightly facetious.

However I don't necessarily agree with the "trend" argument; it so difficult to come to any conclusions at the moment based on the covid situation, the usual shambles of a summer window, lack of pre-season, Pogba being Pogba etc.
Covid - everyone is affected the same it isn’t exclusive to United

Don’t agree that COVID is a red herring. Going to an empty old Trafford is a damn sight easier for opposition and far less intimidating.

Lack of preseason, How is that Ole’s fault? Because he got,us to the latter stages in Europe ?

Pogba’s selection is down to Ole.

Some salient points regarding our illustrious Turkish opponents:

İstanbul Başakşehir Futbol Kulübü is a Turkish professional football club based in the Başakşehir district of Istanbul. The club was founded in 1990 as İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality). They first reached the highest level in Turkish Football in 2007–08. They play their home games at the Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul and are owned by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Everyone has to deal with empty stadiums. Yes more teams are winning away, but has anyone got as bad a record as us this season?

City had to deal with it too, they’re not in the same position as us. Manage the squad, if you’re going to commit to Europe then fine. Send those that you’re starting the season with off on holiday. Tell them to return at a set point. Let those who are playing out Europe have a longer holiday and a later return date. Spread the squad, manage the tiredness. Did we do this?

City are absolutely flying then? PLaying to their usual standard? No they aren’t,

And I fail to see how Ole could’ve achieved what you’ve stated without using Phil Jones and the youth team.

Its a funny old game and I am a little feared for tonights game (dont forget guys its an early kick off)

They had 16 shots at goal vs PSG and a fair amount against Leipzig, by all accounts they were unlucky not to get anything out of those games..

This is going to be just as tough as the other games I recon!

Does it matter what others are doing? Are they losing all their home games? Have they got 4 more points than us despite playing as poorly as they are?
