Hendo. The first LFC captain to lift six different trophies. The lad has won everything at club level with the reds. What a guy. What a captain. Was brilliant today.

Trent is the youngest to complete the set. What have they got left to win? The Community shield, the Europa and Conference leagues? What the team have done is nothing short of incredible.

I hope he never wins the Europa and Conference Leagues.

Not sure how Trent didn't win man of the match. As a neutral I thought his defending was incredible, saved Liverpool many times.

Can't believe it has been 16 years since we last won the cup. More than half our league drought!
First FA cup win at Wembley in 30 years, must be our magic number.

Fantastic times - really glad we got this to complete the set as it were. When Mane got saved I thought it might be over, but Tsimikas just put it away.

Thiago (?) dropping the lid of the cup when he raised it, laugh

And Salah pretending to pass it back missing Tsimikas at the end, hehe

Trent knew the lid was coming off. Diaz nearly dropped it forward on to the crowd below.

As a Chelsea fan...Well done, great gane and you guys are one of THE finest teams assembled in the modern, or any, era. Good luck with the other two parts of the wishful quadruple...dunno if City will slip up but Slippy's Villa will be up for it, and West Ham are a potential banana skin.

That's very gracious of you and it must be awful to have lost so many finals. You gave us a solid game and thoroughly deserve 3rd place in the league

I saw something about mason mount having lost 6 finals at wembley in a row (may have been on here)

That's mad and easy to take the piss but as Klopp said of his final record a few years ago, it takes a lot to get to finals and should never be dismissed

I know everyone is desperate for us to lose not to get the quadruple etc and then claim it a failure but it's impressive and mount having that record is impressive.

Especially as a number of them went to pens, which is not quite a lottery but takes some luck.

That said, this analysis is interesting https://twitter.com/GeirJordet/status/152575597434...

Be 4-1 by 70. Then noble comes on and scores 4 to win it.
