The win Salford referee Tierney gave them at goodison is not as fun now that the ev are not going down and those two points would see us top.

It’s no coincidence that Klopp push the the Big Div Emergency Button and 2 mins later we score…

Since 15 January we have won 15 league games and drawn 2.

47 out of 51 points.

That's insane.

fk that, knowing the FA they'd schedule it the day before the CL final for tv viewings hehe

Me, I'd rather we batter Wolves 7-0 and City are drawing 0-0 until Coutinho scores a 93rd minute injury time winner before taking off his shirt to reveal a t-shirt underneath with the words 'Sorry I left' on it before the camera pans over to see Stevie G running up to Pep before pretending to slip over and taking him out with a sliding tackle.

The only thing that could make that better is for a Div hat-trick & City to be 2-1 up with the 90 mins up, only for a sterling own goal, then Coutinho to wrap it up in the dying seconds with the same shot that beat City 3-2 when he was wearing red…..

What a season.

A League and FA Cup double would be the best season 99% of PL clubs would ever have. By far...

And we are still in with a shout to double that trophy haul with 2 much bigger trophies.

That's insane.

I was at the game last night, but in the wrong end unfortunately. I've got a share in a Saints season ticket as the lad loves watching live footie.

When they scored it was horrific. I then had to sit in silence when we scored ours. Jeez...that took some doing.

I've only been at Saints games against the lesser Premiership teams. Our B team were faster, more skilful, more intelligent, just more everything.

The gulf in quality was just that. All the talk of Ward-Prowse and Walker-Peters.....they weren't even in the game.

I thought our lads were excellent....Jones and Tsimikas in particular were everywhere, and Konate is basically a mountain powered by a rocket.

As a further upside, I won't be renewing my Saints season ticket. Will spend the money on a couple of games at Anfield.

Just need Coutinho and Ings to step up now!

Konate has never lost a match with Liverpool.

He's only 22. He could be an absolutely immense player.

Agreed...hard as nails too. Sticks his head in where most would give it a miss.

I'm beginning to think that Klopp's first choice CB pairing from next season will be Konate & VVD.
Long term plan I think - he was bought as "talent needing moulding a bit". Matip - who has also had an excellent season (often outshining VVD, who has been an ongoing recovery project all season) - can be a bit fragile. Matip has been managed really well this season and has benefited from it. But Konate has improved through the season and looks like he will be a great CB on a consistent basis.

Love this quote that I read this morning:

"They fielded James Milner beside Harvey Elliott, who was born 145 days after Milner made his debut for Leeds."
