Oh come on, anyone can see there was zero contact and it was a blatant dive which Rashford should have been booked for.
Really strange how any united supporter regardless of how biased can come to any other conclusion than that.
You need to see the other angle ,in fact Wright and Shearer discussed it and agreed there was contact which caused rashford to trip himself .Really strange how any united supporter regardless of how biased can come to any other conclusion than that.

No you're quite wrong.Rashford even had the the presence of mind to deliberately clip his own leg in a completely unnatural way, presumably so as to protect himself from accusations of diving, full credit to him for that, it shows incredibly quick thinking.

but but but Rashford deliberately left his foot there to get the contact and go down or something. That will be the claim next . Didn't know Wright and Shearer said it was a penalty, that makes it even worse when the pundits can see it.To be fair to VAR technology you have to actually want to see if it was a penalty, which the operator clearly had no interest in. Or he did check, saw the contact but thought not a clear and obvious error because, err...Either way nothing will be done, since it didn't go in our favour.

Well, just not replying is probably most likely.

This is the issue though , one or two decisions not being checked and a mistake here and there we expect .There were 4 penalty shouts that should have been given if reviewed ,that goes beyond any reasonable level of human error .To be fair to VAR technology you have to actually want to see if it was a penalty, which the operator clearly had no interest in. I think it was always going to be hard to take the game to Southampton with 10 men. They have lots of pace on the break and looked pretty dangerous.
- That said McT did well when he came on
- AwB almost gave away 3 goals being a complete idiot. For all his improvements he's still severely lacking in some departments
- Sancho really hasn't got any better after his rest and is still gassed after 60. Can't see how he can make it if he can't get fitter.....
.
Southampton aren't bad but they are the worst team in the Prem. We should have done better.- That said McT did well when he came on

Yep, I thought McT was good.
AWB - had a bit of a shocker, how difficult is it to pass the bloody ball? If you cock it up once and nearly concede a goal because of it, be careful with the next one. When you do it 3 times....
Agree about Sancho, there's nothing great about him that I can see. I see Garnacho and Pelistri come into the team and race round the pitch with skill on the ball. Sancho is football wallpaper at the moment.

Funny and scary in equal measures Garnacho out for 6 weeks apparently…..
I said a few pages back that Rashford aside we are so light on goals. Losing Garnacho (who isn’t prolific but has popped up with goals in key moments) is definitely a blow.
We have to keep Rashford fit, wonder if Pellistri gets some more game time now too.
The Athletic podcast were talking Antony this week - along with the zero assists he has zero big chances created! Remarkable that.

Really hate this day and age of trying to write off players quickly or prove they’re st with stats. It’s boring.
True,I write them off quickly based on using my eyes .Unless he learns to use his right foot he will never be good enough for any team challenging for top trophies

ETH wanted for reason. Pellistri will get a chance now he’s looked lively. Martial has 15 more minutes in him as well.
