Really hate this day and age of trying to write off players quickly or prove they’re st with stats. It’s boring.
True,I write them off quickly based on using my eyes .Unless he learns to use his right foot he will never be good enough for any team challenging for top trophies
ETH wanted for reason. Pellistri will get a chance now he’s looked lively. Martial has 15 more minutes in him as well.
That being said, at the moment I don't see the same attitude or drive within Anthony that was clearly inside Ronaldo.

I believe everyone though Ronaldo was talented but wasteful with little end product in his first season with Utd too. Too many tricks and not enough goals or assists.

That’s a very astute comment, certainly mirrors my exact thoughts. I took a mate to the Leeds match in Ronaldo’s first season and said to him that he had really quick feet, had real potential and if he could ever produce an end product he’d be a world beater. I didn’t realise, just how good he was going to become though. That being said, at the moment I don't see the same attitude or drive within Anthony that was clearly inside Ronaldo.
You’re right that I don’t see that in Anthony too, but then Ronaldo is one of those once in a few generation players and if Anthony ends up 60% as good he’ll still be one hell of a player. Agree he needs a right foot though.

Apart from the goals he's scored ???
Scoring a goal is different to creating chances.....The discussion was about creativity (or lack of it) from wide players.
He has scored goals, but the focus was more on his need to have everything on his left foot and during games it becomes noticeable that an attack will slow down or a chance goes as cant pass or cross with his right foot.
Its something that can be fixed, and overall I think he has had a good first season. As the games come thick and fast, injuries pile up and we will need to have everyone chipping in with assists and goals to carry the team through.
High octane match, but low quality by us so far.
We have to get on top of their midfield to stop these balls being threaded through. They’ve had several ‘nearly’ moments through the middle.
Can’t believe VAR isn’t allowed to step in about the Pellistri yellow and tell the ref to stop being a knob. Our luck’s just not with us recently.
