Glad ETH is giving each cup competitions a go this season and trying to play the strongest side he can to get the wins.

Its going to be a BIG ask as the players looked tired at times in the past few weeks, but they just need to plough on. Hopefully some of the fringe players can help out and mean we can rest some others.

Issue is in midifled, because with Eriksen out, and Casemiro missing games we are limited to McSauce / Fred and Sabitzer. Bruno is going to have to work overtime to add some creativity in the middle of the park.

Just wish we could get Martial fit, even if its to offer something different to Weghorst at times. Oh well.

It really does not. You're comparing a player who has played in every game since he joined vs one who is permanently injured.
Yeh but my point is we have no option but to play him all the time because Tony M cannot be trusted to stay fit. He must be cut loose this summer I would give his spot to Weghorst and buy Osihmen or Kane.

Agreed. Problem is I think we need to get him fixed and fit before we can sell him. Either way I am not sure who would want a player that spends so much time injured

They are 13th in the Spanish La Liga.

We just disposed of Barcelona (top) and Real Betty (5th).

And only 2 points above the relegation zone in La Liga.

However it's "their" competition and not to be taken lightly. Could've been better, could've been worse.

They have the same voodoo over this competition that real have over the champs league which means regardless of how they are in the league it will be very tough .

Completely agree but we now have an exceptional manager in charge.

Am I right in thinking that bookings expire at the next round (Quarter Final)?

Did I miss the announcement of us joining la liga? Another Spanish team...some variety would be nice, but at least if we get through this one there won't be any left.

I did see on Twitter that it looks like Ericsson is nearly back to full fitness. Should be a massive help in the upcoming games

Any hope for Burnley FC today?

Would be a massive boost for our FA Cup ambitions, if City lose focus and get eliminated today.

Nope. They’ll put on a good show hopefully, with them dominating the Championship and having Kompany at the helm, but ultimately City will be far too strong for them.

Yeh. A point ahead with 2 games in hand. Hopefully we can leave that battle for 4th spot between them three!

Brighton definitely and possibly Brentford are also in that little battle. Plus our next PL match is Newcastle away. Avoid defeat and we’re sitting pretty, get beaten and we’re definitely in that battle whether we like it or not.
