Lovely goal by Furuhashi to make it 2-0 to Celtic. Apart from a couple of minutes and one save Celtic look comfortable.

Another offside call when it was 3 yards onside. Another dangerous attack stopped for a wrong flag. This should not be happening with VAR.

Yet another ridiculous decision when a stonewall penalty wasn't even reviewed.
Don't think it was a penalty to be fair, but should have at least been reviewed.

I love watching Halliday run about like a man possessed, kicking everything that moves, only for Celtic to score.

He took the legs and didn't get the ball.

Stewart's only justification of it not being a penalty was it didn't affect play as Johnston had already got his cross away. That doesn't matter when you wipe someone out.

Definitely not a penalty if your in hoops but a stonewaller if you are in blue.

It was a stonewall penalty. Went for the ball, didn't get it and took Johnston's legs away with a late challenge.

Too many decisions have gone against Celtic that should not have passed VAR. Some really inexplicable errors. Equally the decisions made by VAR at both ends of the park to benefit Rangers should not happen either. The people in charge of VAR are not capable of making fair and impartial decisions. The Sky studio were laughing and mocking the decisions from last week. VAR in Scotland really has been that bad.

The amount of time wasted in Celtic games checking goals stands out a mile. Other games have far more flow. Celtic still getting wrongly flagged offside too often against VAR rules is a real issue.

Mixed bag performance from rangers today, a few in that team that should be no where near the first team, lundstram, sakala and colak.

Cantwell motm again, he’s been a great signing so far and it was good to see Tillman back, his goal showed the difference in quality between him and colak and sakala. Found space one perfect touch to set himself up then bang an absolute missile into the net. The summer transfer window can’t come quick enough to finally get this squad of players refreshed.

The var line for motherwells 1rst was absolutely atrocious laugh thought that the sending off was quite harsh too, if the guys on the booking a final warning would have sufficed

Looks like Celtic needed some of that Masonic help today, the sending off for hibs was absolutely ridiculous, it could have been a foul on the hibs player

The defence and deflection is in quick. biglaugh

Motherwell's goal was dodgy? What about Rangers goal that was clearly offside? They drew the VAR lines from the Motherwell player's hand(which can't be used) and halfway up the foot of Sakala to get the lines to touch. He was offside.

The calibration of VAR and the straightness of VAR lines is under scrutiny for the Motherwell goal based on the pitch lines cut by a man with a lawnmower. biglaughbiglaugh VAR can't draw lines at an angle.

You were telling us a few weeks back with all the officials and technology it was impossible to get decisions wrong.

Cantwell was MOTM? He wasn't very good. He should also be ashamed for getting the Motherwell player sent off feigning injury and contact to the face.

It was never two yellows for the Hibs player. He shouldn't have been sent off. Hardly getting huge assistance when VAR is pulling up shirt tugs for penalties that get let go in other games.

Over 15 minutes of injury time. It's clear now the tactics of all teams is to stop Celtic playing and ruin the game. It gets bad when managers are reduced to throwing another ball on the park to stop Celtic playing. How many times did Marshall get warned for time wasting?

Awful touchy are you not? laugh coming right out on the attack must mean it was really bad the help Celtic got today. Kinda puts egg on your face when you’ve been saying for weeks that Celtic get officiated to a different standard laugh

Sakala’s was touch and go, rangers probably got away with one. Could say it evened up the Motherwell goal.

I said officials and var have made it impossible to get it wrong? I’m can tell you right now that’s either an outright lie or you’ve taken the comments majorly out of context.

There was no feigning contact to the face , his hands were high but like I said it was soft and probably one the ref should have gave a final warning too.

What did you think of the hibs sending off since you’ve just deflected that one. Really disgraceful officiating. It’s no surprise Celtic got a controversial sending off and penalty considering how much there fans and cheerleaders in the media have been bumping there gums recently

You're too desperate.

Not touchy in the slightest. I'm laughing.

Egg on my face? Hibs were hanging in for the entire game. They got a shirt pull penalty that is rarely given. The result was always coming. It isn't like the Rangers games when they are terrible and need decisions.

I didn't deflect the Hibs' sending off. It is clearly in my post you quoted. How often to you fail to read what is posted or read something that hasn't been said?

There was feigning injury. He went down clutching his face which instigated the sending off.

Sakala was touch and go? Probably got away with one? It was offside and it was a mistake VAR should not make.

The VAR gifts to Rangers continue to mount up. It's too consistent.

Yeah egg on your face when you’ve cried all season about getting refereed to a different standard then get a sending off and a dubious penalty when you are strugglingsmile ofcourse hibs are going to be under the cosh when they’ve had a man wrongly sent off and watched the ref get conned by a dive

You didn’t deflect it but you will deflect it again by not answering it but accusing me of something, comedy gold.
You can admit your team got away with one today we are only going to laugh a wee bit laugh

Honestly the throwing out the deflection accusations and desperation stuff while simultaneously doing it yourself is incredible reading.

You said feigning contact and injury, there was contact and he hit him in the face, it was accidental but what can he do if he’s hit in the face? It was a soft sending off(for the third time) but his hands were high and contact was made.

Aberdeen’s comprehensive win over Hearts and recent form makes you wonder what Goodwin was doing with the squad! It would be an incredible turn around if they took 3rd spot in the league. Meanwhile I hope Hatate and Mooy aren’t out too long for Celtic.

Quite - although Hearts have slumped alarmingly of late.
Celtic ground one out today, a little rub of the green for a change perhaps. A chance for some no-regulars to get some game time, but those guys have been great this season.

The sending off actually helped hibs. Ofcourse kicking a player in the head by accident or not is always and has always been a yellow card. I'm pretty sure most players don't mean to handball it in the box either but is punished. Those are the rules. Glad to see a bit of consistency thrown celtics way for once.

As for hibs with 10 men... they actually became harder to beat. No longer would they venture out to play. Made the job difficult for celtic but big OH stepped up. What an absoloute bullet of a header aswel. The way he turned that player and shattered the back of the net was the first time he's shown me he's going to make it here.

Penalty was a penalty going by previous games rules so very consistent. Just need to add that same consistency into rangers games and we'd all be playing on a nice level playing field.

Rangers offside goal was very... dodgy. Ofcourse I may be getting the rules wrong. I always thought hands didn't count in the offside trap? The line was meant to be from the armpit or any other body part that can actually play the ball. Learn some new rules everyday... or maybe another rule for one and not for the others? Who knows.

Newsflash: They all do it, multiple times in every match. Professional footballers are fking cheats. Every single one of them. It's what they do.

Every single week when Rangers are playing poorly and need a decision something highly controversial happens. This is another to add to the extensive list.

The Motherwell manager is right to call this out and an official explanation is required. We have to trust the technology, but when you can see the lines they have used is the outstretched hand of the Motherwell player which shouldn't be used, and the other line halfway up the Rangers' players foot to get the lines to touch then obviously the credibility of the decision is rightly under question.

VAR was supposed to close of debate, but every week there is heated discussions about decisions. The vast majority with one team.

How often do they get a man sent off?

Cantwell cheated. It is right to call it out.

The argument was more about Dalzo pretending Cantwell was hit in the face.

So a little bit of cheating is alright?

No different to multiple barrel rolls and screaming their heads off at the slightest touch. Followed by getting the medics on to 'treat' the slightest of contacts. Cheating is cheating and the fact it is so widely accepted is saddening.

It’s one thing players trying to get an advantage but completely another when the technology that was supposed to stop it is being used for the opposite effect.
