So a little bit of cheating is alright?
No different to multiple barrel rolls and screaming their heads off at the slightest touch. Followed by getting the medics on to 'treat' the slightest of contacts. Cheating is cheating and the fact it is so widely accepted is saddening.
I'm lost where you are going here. You say it's sad that cheating is so widely accepted, but cheating has not been accepted here and called out. You're excusing it and going down the whataboutery route. No different to multiple barrel rolls and screaming their heads off at the slightest touch. Followed by getting the medics on to 'treat' the slightest of contacts. Cheating is cheating and the fact it is so widely accepted is saddening.

You were taking gibberish and I fobbed you off.
Trying to claim Cantwell was hit in the face.
I thought Richard Foster summed it up well.
So was there zero contact? Like I’ve already said 4 times it was soft and not one I would have gave although you can continue to spoil for an argument. You were taking gibberish and I fobbed you off.
Trying to claim Cantwell was hit in the face.

Why was the line drawn from his hand? Still nobody can answer that? Yet the line in the motherwell goal was from his knee? That means human error has caused a goal for rangers. Another controversial wrong decision again in the favour of rangers. Never against.
The line stuff not matching the box etc doesn't bother me as its easy enough to not have an exact line when a human does it so its not a perfect 90 degree angle like var should have.

CCV threw himself the floor?

You either haven't watched the incident, or doing your usual thing of complete fabrication to make things sound equal. CCV very clearly performs a diving header to win the ball.
Edit. You mean the penalty? He was being held.
Earlier in the season at Hibs Colak had his waist brushed with the fingertips of the Hibs defender off the ball. He performed a massive dive and you said that was a penalty and he was right to go down.
CCV was actually being held. It was in the same category as the Hibs penalty. You're not going to contradict yourself and say 1) it wasn't a penalty, 2) he had no right to go down when you justified the Colak one?

One line drawn from the Motherwell player's hand the other line drawn from halfway up Sakala's boot. The line stuff not matching the box etc doesn't bother me as its easy enough to not have an exact line when a human does it so its not a perfect 90 degree angle like var should have.
To position one line wrongly shouldn't happen. We all know hands can't be used for offside decisions. To then also position the second line wrongly to only just get the decision as onside is extremely suspicious.

Mixed bag performance from rangers today, a few in that team that should be no where near the first team, lundstram, sakala and colak.
Cantwell motm again, he’s been a great signing so far and it was good to see Tillman back, his goal showed the difference in quality between him and colak and sakala. Found space one perfect touch to set himself up then bang an absolute missile into the net. The summer transfer window can’t come quick enough to finally get this squad of players refreshed.
The var line for motherwells 1rst was absolutely atrocious
thought that the sending off was quite harsh too, if the guys on the booking a final warning would have sufficed
Looks like Celtic needed some of that Masonic help today, the sending off for hibs was absolutely ridiculous, it could have been a foul on the hibs player
A bit of a mixed bag, it looked like they were hungover for most of the first half and definitely missed Raskin. The defence expected the offside and didn't focus on making the clearence and caught out again. How many times? Colak had a bit of a nightmare but I though Sakala came into it in the second half. The subs did well and while I'm not convinced about the change in shape, we did seem to be more dominant. The officiating seemed to be wild in most games this weekend but I'm not sure that's the consistency we've been looking for...Cantwell motm again, he’s been a great signing so far and it was good to see Tillman back, his goal showed the difference in quality between him and colak and sakala. The tempo and recycling of the ball is so slow when he’s not in the team. It’s was ridiculous defending and so was the second, lost count the amount of times they have let a ball cross them like that rather than blooter it out of the park.
Honestly I think both aren’t good enough to be in the team, sakala is decent if he has to use instinct rather than his brain but once Tillman and Alfredo came on the quality went up, sakala would have took a shot and missed where Alfredo done a drag back to make space and picked tillman out.

Good to see the media are beginning to call out cheating, both from players and officials.
Incredible seeing what I assume are otherwise intelligent people on here tying themselves in knots to justify decisions and equate different incidents. A job in the Lanarkshire referees association awaits.

VAR only gets lines wrong for rangers and always to rangers advantage. Penalty from outside the box. Clear offside goal. All at pivitol game changing times. Never when 3 or 4 up. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/rangers/to...

Even rangers fans know that's offside. Yet for some reason never admit it. Yet celtic fans will always openly admit when we get lucky. Like when the hibs player for sent off for accidently kicking our player fully in the head. He wasn't brain damaged or bleeding and could still breath so I could see why it never warranted a second yellow.

I don't like articles like the Cantwell one. The journalist is covering the subject as he knows it's true, but he's hidden behind Richard Foster so he doesn't get the abuse. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/rangers/to...

I think deep down Rangers fans know they have got away with murder this season. That is why the effort to level things up with totally different equivalents, fabricated stories and defending every incident is getting worse.

Totally agree, perhaps your maybe not the greatest arbitrator of who’s intelligent though as that would take presenting all evidence in fair and balanced manner. I mean this was from the same show so it’s not particularly hard to find

You're right though, perhaps my judgement on people being intelligent isn't correct after all.
Soft penalty, easy to admit, would have expected it to be given against us with the decisions that have gone against us before this season. Anything to say about the cheating in your game?

Finally we are getting somewhere, congrats on being the first in the thread to admit it, after all this moaning and cries of conspiracy it’s fine to say Celtic had a little help at the weekend.
If I’m being honest I thought it was absolutely scandalous and the referee should be hung, drawn and quartered. How he didn’t notice the Motherwell first goal being offside is crazy.

Soft? There was zero contact with his face. He cheated clutching his face as if he'd been punched by Tyson Fury to get a man sent off.

Poetry in front of our very eyes.Cantwell went down theatrically, screaming and holding the middle of his face. The best you can come up with is a still screenshot with an arm nowhere near the sore parts he was holding.
The video tells the story. Too many of these screenshots are taken to attempt to show something that didn't happen.
It was cheating pure and simple. He cheated to get a man sent off. It's good to see he has been called out for it by numerous people.

So that’s us moved from absolutely zero contact to he went down theatrically

I believe it was limmy that had the sketch “Don’t back doon, double doon.”

You’re (unsurprisingly) misunderstanding what a soft penalty is. It’s still a penalty and I would have expected it to be given against us.

I don’t think any team in the league would expect to get it against The Rangers though.
