United starting XI vs Nottingham Forest: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Yoro; Dalot, Ugarte, Casemiro, Dorgu; Garnacho, Fernandes, Zirkzee.

Substitutes: Bayindir, Amass, Lindelof, Maguire, Collyer, Eriksen, Kone, Mount, Hojlund.

Hojlund scores for us and is dropped to the bench! Bruno higher up so not in his best position, strange side this, I hope it works

Utterly pathetic defending. Shambolic.

It was unlikely he’d have saved it, but somehow he managed to dive the right way but get no nearer the ball than when he was standing still. He seems to be able to defy the laws of physics with his stness.

We played pretty well that half to be honest.

Good until the final third. Garnacho has been utterly ste today, so many attacks broke down when it got to him.

Bit more cutting edge up top and we’d have a chance here.

Lots to sort out here. Forest aren’t that great, but we’re wasting chances and playing at walking pace. The defending for that goal would have been embarrassing at U12s level.

We've played worse and won this season. Frustrating to give them their dream opportunity so early, defend it so poorly (from everyone involved). Other than that been ok, just don't know how to break a low block (as per). Elanga fast as feck though, fair play.

Pretty predictable.

The save from Onana. Was it really “outstanding”? He seemed to dove with his hands to where his feet were and then palm it back out into the danger area again. Didn’t matter as it was offside, but it didn’t seem so amazing to me. Admittedly I’m biased against him though as he’s st.

Awful so far this half, ponderous, can't keep the ball, late to tackles. Just rubbish.

I have a feeling 'Forests formation is actually flattering your play.
