I think we will find that the INEOS team have been playing games about finances - SJR was talking loosely and I suspect inaccurately about going bust and they will have the means to bring in what they need

With the definite outgoings (Eriksen Lindalof Heaton etc) the likely sales (Rashford, Sancho and Antony) they have a need to add several. My sense is they will try to find a way out for Casemiro (which could be a loan)
and sell at least one of Garnacho or Mainoo and I would not be astonished to see both Onana and Bayindir moved out

We are strongly linked with Cunha and Delap - decent statements about a keeper with Trafford and Garcia mentioned pretty strongly - lots of talk about athletics centre midfield players to support Ugarte and Collyer - people like Edersen at Atalanta

I think they will look at options to move on Rasmus but if no decent options he will stay and be one of three #9 options with Delap and Garcia

At #10 it may be Cunha Amad Mount Bruno Zirkzee and maybe Mainoo

At #6 Ugarte Collyer Bruno and maybe Edersen or someone like that level of athleticism

LWB seems to be Dorgu Amass and the new lad Leon

RWB could be a slot in which they buy - can see Amad Dalot Dorgu all playing some role there but it’s a hole

CB the one area we are strong

Keeper maybe an incoming like Costa

Indeed. We’ve been fortunate in that the three newly promoted teams this season have all been so inadequately equipped for the top tier. Even 40 points has not been enough to survive in some seasons and we’ve yet to hit that mark.

XI | Onana, Mazraoui, Maguire, Yoro, Dorgu, Shaw, Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes, Hojlund, Garnacho.

Subs | Heaton, Amass, Evans, Fredricson, Lindelof, Eriksen, Mount, Ugarte, Obi.

I do not have high hopes today frown

Another dead rubber. I don’t agree with Bruno and Maguire starting. Those 2 should be in bubble wrap for Europe

It’s not a dead rubber. We’re in a four way fight to see who can finish as the worst team not to be relegated this season. It’s going to be a challenge, but I reckon we can pip Spurs and West Ham to the title wink

Terrible distribution from you know who. Why play out from the back when the opposition is swarming all over your defence?

Dorgu is tragic. Wonder what our scouts saw in him….

Crazy stat popped up that Amorim has 6 wins in 23 games during his reign. For context Wolves have 6 in their last 6 under their new manager hehe

What is the point of var if it can’t intervene when a free kick has gone the wrong way and a player wrongly booked
